Nahargarh Fort

City Palace of Udaipur

This ancient building is located at Gangotri ghat on the banks of Lake Pichola. It was built by Amir Chand Badwa in the eighteenth century. This building is patterned on the Khetri Mahal in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan because the Maharaja was highly impressed by the Khetri structure. Hawa Mahal is said to be an extension of the city palace. Lal Chand Ustad, the designer of this building has designed it as a five-storied structure. However, there is no staircase in the entire building instead uniquely constructed ramp is used to reach the upper floors of the building.

Mehrangarh Fort
Being the embodiment of royalty and glory, this edifice in Jodhpur is one of the most alluring forts in India. Rao Jodha (founder of Jodhpur) built this Fort in 1459. This 15th-century artefact is a museum now, exhibiting tools, paintings, sculptures, etc. The most attractive things in the fort include Chokelao Bagh and Zip Lining. The structure of the Bagh makes one feel like a beautiful garden all over the place. The uniqueness of this Bagh is that its flowers don’t require much watering and they stay fresh all day long. Sonar Fort, Jaisalmer

Bahubali Hills in Udaipur
