The following are some of Gujarat's most popular textile products:
1.BANDHANI- This is a tie-and-dye technique for textiles. It's constructed of superfine cotton mulmal and decorated with gold checks and motifs in the Jamadari style. Fabric is tied into tiny knots and then dipped in a base colour before being retied and dyed in this technique. Kutch, Jamnagar, Saurashtra, and Rajkot are the main centres of Bandhani work in Gujarat. Bandhani works can also be found in Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan, in addition to Gujarat.

2.AJRAKH AND DHAMDKA
Dhamdka is the art of using wooden blocks to print cloth. The design to be printed on the fabric is first pierced and then chiselled into the wooden block. Then simply dip the block in various colours and stamp on the fabric to create a lovely design. The fabric is fixed in the river and distributed to dry after printing. It is extensively practised in cities such as Gondal, Jetpur, and Junagadh. In addition to these locations, it can also be found in Pakistan in the Thar Desert.

3.MATANI
It's also known as MATANI PCHEDI. The Matani cloth is made by the Varghi community for numerous ritualistic uses. Various techniques, such as block printing and painting, are used to create the designs. Matani is an homage to the goddess Durga. The Ahemdabad Calico Museum of Textiles is a fantastic site to learn about the Matani culture.

4.MASHRU
It's a woven fabric made out of cotton and silk. Patan is one of the most important districts for the mass production of Mashru. Extra wrap threads and the ikkat design are examples of different styles. It was once produced throughout India, but currently exclusively in the state of Gujarat. In Iraq and the Arab countries, the weaving technique was widely used. Because Muslims are not permitted to wear pure silk, this was mostly utilised by them.
