Kerala Cultural Tour 12 Nights 13 Days :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Mumbai / Delhi

Depending upon the selection place for your arrival, you will be picked up by our representative with a warm welcome. Then you will be driven to your hotel for taking rest followed by lunch. Later in the day you can surf the nearby places to the hotel as per your convenience. Night stay in Mumbai.

Day 2 Mumbai / Delhi - Thiruvananthapuram – Kovalam

Next morning after breakfast after discovering specifically selected monuments will depart for airport for arrival at Thiruvananthapuram you can visit Padmanabhamswamy temple, Veli Tourist Village, Kovalam, all these places including other right place for art lover. Its intricate temples of Chera Era will make one remind of the pompous lifestyle and glory of the kingdom and its kings who build such lavish monuments. Night stay in Kovalam.

Day 3 Kovalam

Next bright morning will kick start with a light breakfast in Kovalam excursion for this cam and beautiful pace will start. This place is famous for its spa speciality and variety which has medication value in terms of Ayurveda. These therapies will help out in healing pain, relaxing body and complete rest to mind. Day will be spent in taking rest after spa because its strongly recommended. Overnight stay.

Day 4 Kovalam

The next morning in Kovalam will be scheduled for visiting places like Vizhinjam Mosque. Kovalam have some excellent crescent shape beaches which are idle for a tour where one is looking for complete peace. Over night stay.

Day 5 Kovalam - Quilon or Kollam (77 Km)

Fifth day of the tour will be scheduled for visiting Quilon which is travelled by road and can be reached within a couple of hour. Quilon is famous for its cashew along with a slurp variety of sea food. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6 Quilon (85 Km)

In the consecutive 6th & 7th day Quilon will be discovered as its scenic variety in addition to the tremendous variety of flora and fauna will give in dept relieve and calmness.
Its backwater, beach beauty, finger shaped canal view will take your heart away. Overnight stay in Quilon.

Day 7 Quilon (85 Km)

Day 8 Alleppey – Periyar (89 Km)

Next morning we will depart for Periyar by road with a smooth drive by our trained driver. On reaching Periyar you will be transported to your hotel for lunch and rest. Later in the evening you will be taken through the local market of Periyar for knowing life and culture of Periyar and its people. Overnight stay.

Day 9 Periyar (Full Day)

Another morning in Periyar will be about visiting the Periyar tiger Reserve which is located in Tekkady. This national park is one of the dense and rich forests in terms of verity of flora and fauna. It has Asian Elephants, Smooth Coated Otter, Leopard, Wild Dog etc. Night stay in Periyar.

Day 10 Periyar – Munnar (85 Km)

Early in the morning after quick bites for breakfast we will transport you to the very beautiful Munnar by road. It will take approx two hours to reach the place enjoying the road side greenery and green lush green hill side.

Day 11 Munnar

Munnar has something different for its tourist especially for those who love adventure and sports. Trekking, River Crossing, Rafting and Camping are some of the exclusive activities which are offered by Munnar given its geographical diversity. You can enjoy these sport entire day. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 12 Munnar – Cochin (130 Km)

On the very next day we will depart early in the morning from Munnar for Cochin. Within a span of three hours you will be taken to the yet another beautiful city of Kerala, Cochin. Road side corners piles of coconut water vendors; long date trees also known as “Queen of Arabia “has living remnants of British, Portuguese and French era. Night stay in Cochin.

Day 13 Kochi - Mumbai - Departure

On the last day of the South India Kerala Tour you will be dropped in the morning to the Mumbai Airport for your departure to your home.

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. My husband, our 20-year-old son, and I had a wonderful trip to India in late October this year. We visited Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, and also spent a couple of days in Ranthambore hoping to spot a tiger, though luck wasn’t on our side this time. Nand and his team provided exceptional personal service from the very beginning of our planning and throughout our time in India. We stayed in some nice hotels, but on one occasion the standard didn’t meet our expectations. Nand immediately arranged a more suitable alternative, which we greatly appreciated. When our son realised he had forgotten his medication at home, Nand and Ram stepped in to help; thanks to them, we were able to see a local doctor and obtain the medication we needed, something well beyond the planned itinerary. We also fell in love with a local candy during the trip, and the team surprised us by arranging some for us to take home, which was such a thoughtful touch. The last hotel on our trip, the Trident Gurgaon, another recommendation by Nand, truly stood out. It was the perfect place to switch off, relax, and feel completely pampered before heading home. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive, the cocktails and food were fantastic, and the pool was an absolute highlight. A gorgeous hotel with service that was just as impressive and conveniently located for Delhi International airport. Ram, our driver, navigated Delhi’s chaotic traffic and handled the long drives between cities with remarkable ease. We have no idea how he managed to stay so calm throughout—keep up the great work, Ram! We had a fantastic experience with Top Indian Holidays. Nand helped us settle in on itinerary (Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore Tiger safari, and Agra), and provided our driver and local guides. Our driver Ram was consistently on time, very kind, and attentive—he did a wonderful job pointing out sights along the way and adjusting our itinerary whenever we had special requests. The car was also extremely comfortable, clean, and cool, which made our long travel days very enjoyable. We also appreciated that the rest stops were clean and not overly pushy with shopping.
