The serene city of Kumarakom will be left behind on the fifth day of South India Tour. Early in the morning we will depart for Periyar by road which will take around two hours to reach. Next morning we will leave for Madurai from Periyar. After a long but swift journey by road after reaching Madurai you will be transported to the hotel where after lunch we will discover Madurai including places like Meenakshi Temple, Gandhi Memorial Museum and so on. Night stay in Madurai.
