Feel the Excitement and Fun of Camel Safari in Rajasthan

Rajasthan is the largest state in the India with 33 cultural districts and number of alluring villages. When we think about Rajasthan the first thing comes in our mind that is field with sand dunes area, camel safaris, colorful attires, and cities with forts-havellis. All cities of Rajasthan has unique attributes to tell the world, like some cities famous for their food, some famous for their palaces and monuments and some famous for their inside beauty and culture. If we talk about Jaisalmer; the city is famous for its Thar Deserted land which gives a feeling of Disneyland in the Rajasthan. The city is also known as “The Golden City” and it is situated 100 km apart from Pakistan border. The beauty of desert land attracts many tourist to get enlarge their experience and a relaxing place to escape from your routine life. Fortunately I got a chance to explore this royal- deserted land with my friend. We packed our bags and headed toward the way of the golden city.

In Jaisalmer you will find plenty of activities to do, here I will elaborate some activities which have done when I have been in a Deserted land.

Camel Safari
Camels are known as a ship of Desert. Camel safari is the thing which gives you goose bumps and thrilling experience. The thrilling ride of camel and making your efforts to stay stiff on the back of the camel is give more fun. Camel riding on flat surface is like you are walking on a piece of cake but riding on sand dunes terrains gives a breathe taking event. When camel goes up and down, it is like you will fall off and slip off. Camels are the vehicles that have an ability to take in the interior villages on their backs. Camel safari in Rajasthan is great way to explore rural areas and experience serenity and warm camping experience.

Camping in Thar Desert
If you are in Jaisalmer, you just cannot miss the camping in the Thar Desert because camping under the sky gives a mesmerizing experience. The evening camps make sand dunes more beautiful when sun shone down and folk music makes mesmerizing environment. Nature gives many wonders to us by which we can forget the mundane things of life. The sunset is stay for moments but it deliver best sigh which remain vivid in mind.

Jaisalmer Fort
This fort is fondly known as Sonar Quila (Golden Fort) which is built by the Bhati Rajput ruler Rao Jaisal in 1156 AD. This fort is situated amidst of the Thar Desert on Trikuta Hill and has declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is 460 meter long and 230 meter wide and it is situated on 76 meter heighted hill. The fort is a truly bled of Rajput and Islamic architectural style.

It was a short trip to Jaisalmer that’s how I ended up with this city. After getting adventuring experience I was fully refreshed and charged to do new things in life. Some memories remain last forever. Orange sand dunes are still in my image and attracting me for another trip to explore another trip to Jaisalmer.
