Go to see the magnificent Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the late afternoon. Once you've explored the halls, go outdoors to see the marble take on various shades of orange as the sun sets. Head back to the hotel for dinner after your explorations.

Following a substantial breakfast at the hotel. You will have a personal guide to help you explore the "Pink City." Discover the walled City Palace, a vast assemblage of Mughal and Rajput buildings with gardens and courtyards. Explore the interesting 18th-century equipment housed in Jantar Mantar, the observatory next door. Don't miss the Dhruva Yantra, which can be used to find the zodiac signs and the position of the North Star. As your final stop, go visit the Palace of the Winds, also known as Hawa Mahal, which is built of pink sandstone. This five-story home was constructed in 1799 by Sawai Pratap Singh for the women in his royal harem, yet it isn't the most well-known structure in Jaipur. After you check into your lodging, you can spend the evening on your own.

This morning, after breakfast at the hotel, visit Albert Hall, the Central Museum, to view exhibits of brassware, ceramics, woodwork, and costumes that depict rural Rajasthani life. Explore the Anokhi Museum, which is devoted to the age-old crafts of block and hand printing and is housed in a beautifully renovated haveli, a townhouse from the Mughal Empire. See the magnificent Amber Fort, which features a view of Maota Lake and was built in the Mughal style. Once Jaipur's state capital, this beautifully built UNESCO World Heritage Site is made of red sandstone and marble. This fort perched on a hill is regarded as one of the best in all of India because of its elaborate chambers, exquisitely adorned temples, and intimidating exteriors. After you are done with the itinerary for the day, you have the option to either explore the markets or get back to the hotel for the evening.

Proceed to the Jagdish Temple through the elephant gate, Hathi Pol, and admire its striking exterior, intricately carved chhatris (cenotaphs), murals, and mosaics. Proceed to the Fateh Prakash Palace's Crystal Gallery, where a variety of crystal objects, including beds, vases, and fountains, are on exhibit.
