Boutique Rajasthan Luxury Tour :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Jodhpur

Upon arrival at Jodhpur Airport, guests are welcomed by the representative of Top Indian Holidays and transferred to their luxury heritage hotel. Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City, rises dramatically beneath the mighty Mehrangarh Fort and remains one of Rajasthan’s most visually striking royal destinations. The city’s blue-painted houses, desert atmosphere and warrior history create a distinctive identity unlike anywhere else in India.

After check-in, begin a relaxed introduction to the city with an evening heritage walk through selected lanes of the old town. Traditional markets, spice shops and artisan workshops reveal the everyday rhythm of local life while the illuminated fort towers above the city skyline. Your guide will introduce the region’s royal history and explain how Jodhpur developed into an important trading center along desert caravan routes.

The evening concludes with a traditional Rajasthani dinner served within a heritage setting. Rich desert cuisine, candlelit courtyards and live folk music create a memorable first impression of Rajasthan’s royal hospitality. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 2 Jodhpur Royal Heritage

After breakfast, proceed for a detailed exploration of Mehrangarh Fort, regarded as one of India’s grandest and best-preserved forts. Massive stone gateways open into beautifully decorated palaces filled with carved balconies, stained glass windows, royal courtyards and museum galleries displaying weapons, textiles and artifacts connected to the Rathore dynasty.

From the fort walls, panoramic views across Jodhpur’s blue-painted old city create one of Rajasthan’s most iconic landscapes. Your guide will explain the fort’s military importance as well as the artistic sophistication of Rajasthan’s warrior rulers. The combination of architecture, history and dramatic scenery makes Mehrangarh Fort one of the highlights of the journey.

Later, continue to Jaswant Thada, an elegant marble memorial built beside a peaceful lake. The afternoon remains free for shopping or relaxation at the hotel. Guests may explore local boutiques specializing in handcrafted textiles, antiques and leather goods unique to Jodhpur. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 3 Jodhpur to Narlai

Following breakfast, depart for Narlai, one of Rajasthan’s hidden heritage gems located between Jodhpur and Udaipur. Unlike Rajasthan’s larger cities, Narlai offers a peaceful countryside atmosphere surrounded by granite hills, traditional villages and rural landscapes. The slower pace here creates an ideal contrast to the grandeur of Jodhpur.

Upon arrival, check into a beautifully restored heritage property, often a former royal hunting lodge or historic haveli transformed into a boutique luxury retreat. The experience focuses heavily on personalized hospitality, cultural authenticity and quiet relaxation. Guests may spend the afternoon walking through the village where local traditions and daily life remain largely unchanged by mass tourism.

As evening approaches, enjoy one of Rajasthan’s most memorable dining experiences beside an ancient stepwell illuminated with lanterns and candles. Traditional cuisine served in such a historic and atmospheric setting creates a truly unforgettable luxury experience. Overnight stay in Narlai.

Day 4 Narlai Rural Experiences

This morning begins with a relaxed exploration of Rajasthan’s countryside surrounding Narlai. Guests may enjoy village walks, interactions with local communities or visits to nearby temples and rural settlements where traditional lifestyles continue across generations. Unlike large tourist cities, Narlai offers a more intimate perspective of Rajasthan’s cultural identity.

The peaceful environment also allows guests to enjoy the luxury property itself at a slower pace. Courtyards, gardens, heritage architecture and personalized service create an atmosphere of refined comfort perfectly suited for travelers seeking exclusivity and tranquility. Optional activities including leopard tracking excursions or horse riding experiences may also be arranged depending on guest interest.

The evening remains free for relaxation under Rajasthan’s desert sky. Fine dining, traditional music and the quiet atmosphere of rural Rajasthan create an experience far removed from modern urban life. Overnight stay in Narlai.

Day 5 Narlai to Udaipur

After breakfast, continue toward Udaipur through the scenic Aravalli Hills. Along the route, travelers encounter marble temples, village settlements and changing landscapes before reaching Rajasthan’s celebrated lake city. Upon arrival, check into your luxury lakeside hotel overlooking the peaceful waters of Lake Pichola.

Later in the afternoon, begin sightseeing with a private boat ride on Lake Pichola. Passing the famous Lake Palace and Jag Mandir while sunset light reflects upon the water creates one of Rajasthan’s most elegant and romantic experiences. Udaipur’s atmosphere feels softer and more graceful compared to Rajasthan’s desert cities.

The evening remains free for leisure or rooftop dining overlooking illuminated palaces and lakeside scenery. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 6 Udaipur Cultural Heritage

After breakfast, begin a guided exploration of Udaipur’s magnificent City Palace complex. Marble balconies, ornate courtyards, mirror-work chambers and royal terraces preserve centuries of Mewar dynasty history while offering panoramic views across the lakes and hills surrounding the city.

Continue toward Jagdish Temple before exploring sections of the old city known for miniature paintings, silver craftsmanship and traditional textiles. Unlike commercial shopping districts elsewhere, many artisans here continue handcrafted techniques passed down through generations. The slower atmosphere of Udaipur makes cultural exploration especially enjoyable.

Later, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, the elegant royal gardens created for noblewomen and princesses. Lotus pools, marble fountains and shaded pathways create a peaceful setting ideal for relaxed sightseeing. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 7 Departure from Udaipur

Following breakfast, transfer to Udaipur Airport for your onward journey. Assistance will be provided throughout the departure process to ensure a smooth and comfortable conclusion to your boutique Rajasthan holiday.

Throughout the journey, guests have experienced Rajasthan through a more refined and intimate lens — from the dramatic royal heritage of Jodhpur to the peaceful countryside atmosphere of Narlai and the romantic lakeside elegance of Udaipur. Each destination offered a distinct perspective of Rajasthan’s culture, hospitality and architectural beauty.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence. Thank you Top Indian Holidays!  ...Read More

We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
