Cochin - Alleppey - Kumarakom - Kovalam - Goa

Trip Overview

Two of India's most beautiful and most LGBTQ+ welcoming destinations - combined into one seamless, deeply romantic journey crafted exclusively for same-sex couples. This 9 Nights / 10 Days Gay Honeymoon Kerala & Goa Luxury Tour moves from the serene, green, water-threaded landscapes of Kerala - its colonial port city, its misty backwaters, its private houseboats, its Ayurvedic wellness traditions, and its warm Arabian Sea beaches - to the sun-soaked, open-hearted, endlessly joyful atmosphere of Goa - India's rainbow capital and its most beloved beach destination for gay and lesbian travelers from around the world.

A night on a private luxury houseboat on the backwaters - just the two of you, the water, the coconut palms, and a sky full of stars - is one of the most romantic experiences available anywhere in India. A candlelit Ayurvedic dinner at a beautiful wellness resort. A sunrise walk on a deserted Kerala beach. These are the moments that make a honeymoon in Kerala something that a couple carries with them for a lifetime.

Goa brings something different - the particular freedom and openness of India's most naturally LGBTQ+ welcoming destination. Here, same-sex couples can walk hand in hand on the beach, dine at sunset restaurants without a second thought, and feel - genuinely, completely, without reservation - that they are in a place that welcomes exactly who they are. Goa's boutique beach resorts, its legendary seafood restaurants, its vibrant beach scene, and its warm, welcoming atmosphere create the perfect complement to Kerala's quieter romance.

Gay Honeymoon Kerala & Goa Luxury Tour :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Cochin

Welcome to Kerala - Your Honeymoon in South India Begins

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, your representative will be waiting with a personalized name board to escort you both to your private vehicle. Transfer to your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming heritage boutique hotel in Fort Kochi - its colonial architecture, beautiful courtyard garden, and warm, personal service making it the perfect first romantic night in Kerala.

A special honeymoon welcome will be arranged in your room - flowers, candles, and a personal touch that marks the beginning of this extraordinary journey together. Spend the evening exploring Fort Kochi's atmospheric waterfront - the Chinese fishing nets silhouetted against the evening sky, the smell of the sea, and the particular quality of Fort Kochi's evening light making for one of the most immediately romantic first evenings available anywhere in South India.

Dinner at a candlelit Fort Kochi seafood restaurant - the beginning of what will be ten days of extraordinary food, extraordinary scenery, and extraordinary experiences together.

Overnight stay in Cochin - Fort Kochi Heritage Boutique Hotel.

Day 2 Cochin Sightseeing & Leisure

Colonial Heritage, Art & the Most Cosmopolitan City in Kerala

After a leisurely breakfast, your guide takes you on a well-paced and enjoyable morning of Cochin sightseeing - the Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace with its extraordinary Kerala mural paintings, and the fascinating Jewish Quarter of Jew Town with the beautiful Paradesi Synagogue. The afternoon is free for the two of you to explore Fort Kochi's charming art galleries, boutique shops, and cafes at your own pace - discovering the city together without agenda or schedule.

This evening, attend a Kathakali dance performance - the extraordinary classical dance form of Kerala, its performers in elaborate costumes and makeup enacting mythological stories in a display of tremendous physical and artistic skill. A genuinely memorable cultural experience for a honeymoon evening in Cochin.

Overnight stay in Cochin - Fort Kochi Heritage Boutique Hotel.

Day 3 Cochin to Alleppey & Private Houseboat

The Most Romantic Night of Your Kerala Journey

After breakfast and checkout, your private vehicle departs for Alleppey - approximately 1.5 hours through the Kerala countryside. Upon arrival, board your private luxury houseboat - a beautifully appointed traditional Kerala kettuvallam fitted with a comfortable double bedroom, an open sit-out deck, a well-equipped kitchen, and everything required for a night of genuine comfort and romance on the backwaters.

Your houseboat glides silently through the extraordinary Kerala backwater network - past paddy fields and coconut groves, through narrow village canals, and across the vast, mirror-still expanse of Vembanad Lake. Lunch is prepared fresh on board by your houseboat cook using local fish, vegetables, and Kerala spices - eaten together on the shaded deck as the backwater world drifts slowly past.

The afternoon unfolds at the most beautifully unhurried pace - tea as the light softens toward evening, the two of you on the deck as the sun sets over the backwaters in extraordinary shades of gold and orange. A special candlelit dinner is arranged on the houseboat deck as the boat moors for the night in a quiet canal - the stars of Kerala appearing above the coconut palms, the sound of water and night birds the only sounds in the warm Kerala darkness.

This night - just the two of you, on your private houseboat, on the most beautiful waterways in India - is the kind of honeymoon experience that photographs cannot capture and words only partially describe.

Overnight stay on Private Luxury Houseboat.

Day 4 Kumarakom & Drive to Kovalam

Backwater Serenity - Then the Arabian Sea Awaits

After a beautiful backwater breakfast on board, disembark at Kumarakom - one of the most serene of the backwater destinations, its bird sanctuary and quiet waterways creating an atmosphere of remarkable peace and natural beauty. Spend the late morning on a gentle country boat ride through Kumarakom's narrower canals - the birds, the water, and the extraordinary stillness of the backwater landscape in the morning providing one of the most genuinely restful experiences of the entire honeymoon.

After lunch, your vehicle begins the drive to Kovalam - approximately 3 to 4 hours along the Kerala coast. Kovalam's famous Lighthouse Beach curves along the Arabian Sea in a setting of considerable natural beauty - its warm waters, its excellent Ayurvedic wellness centers, and its collection of boutique beach resorts making it one of the finest beach honeymoon destinations in South India.

Check into your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming luxury beach resort - a special honeymoon room setup will be waiting - and spend the evening on the beach as the sun sets over the Arabian Sea in one of Kerala's most beautiful natural spectacles.

Overnight stay in Kovalam - Luxury Beach Resort.

Day 5 Kovalam - Ayurveda, Beach & Sunset Romance

Wellness, Waves & the Perfect Kerala Honeymoon Day

Today is entirely yours - a day of pure relaxation, wellness, and romance on the Kerala coast. Begin the morning with a couples Ayurvedic treatment at your resort's wellness center or at one of Kovalam's finest Ayurvedic clinics - the classic Abhyanga full body warm oil massage performed simultaneously for both of you is one of the most deeply relaxing and most genuinely therapeutic couple's experiences that Kerala offers.

After your treatment, spend the day as you please - swimming in the warm Arabian Sea, reading on the beach, exploring the small shops and cafes of the Kovalam beachfront, or simply lying in comfortable beach chairs watching the fishing boats move across the glittering water in the afternoon light.

As the sun begins its descent toward the Arabian Sea, find a perfect spot on the beach or at a clifftop restaurant for one of Kovalam's legendary sunset dinners - fresh Kerala seafood, cold wine, and the sky turning every shade of orange and pink above the water in a display of natural beauty that feels designed specifically for the occasion.

Overnight stay in Kovalam - Luxury Beach Resort.

Day 6 Kovalam to Goa by Flight

From Kerala's Green Coast to India's Rainbow Capital

After a leisurely breakfast at your beach resort, check out and transfer to Trivandrum International Airport for your flight to Goa - approximately 1.5 hours in the air, but a complete shift in atmosphere, energy, and feeling.

Upon arrival at Goa Airport, your representative transfers you to your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming boutique beach resort - ideally in North Goa's Vagator or Anjuna area for the first nights, offering access to Goa's most beautiful and most characterful northern beaches. A special honeymoon welcome will be arranged.

Check in, change into something comfortable, and step outside into the warm Goan afternoon - the sound of the sea nearby, the smell of frangipani in the air, and the immediate, unmistakable sense that you have arrived somewhere that wants you to be entirely, completely, joyfully yourselves. Spend the evening on the beach as the sun sets over the Arabian Sea - different from the Kerala sunset, somehow bolder and more vivid - before dinner at a Goan beach shack recommended by your guide.

Overnight stay in Goa - Boutique Beach Resort.

Day 7 North Goa - Heritage, Beaches & the LGBTQ+ Heart of Goa

Old Goa, Fontainhas & Goa's Most Beautiful Northern Coast

After a relaxed breakfast, your guide takes you on an enjoyable morning of North Goa exploration. Begin with Old Goa - UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's most remarkable colonial quarters. The magnificent Basilica of Bom Jesus and the grand Se Cathedral are among the finest examples of Portuguese Baroque architecture anywhere in the world.

Continue to Panaji and the colorful Latin Quarter of Fontainhas - narrow cobblestone lanes, pastel-painted Portuguese houses, art galleries, and quirky cafes creating Goa's most charming and most LGBTQ+ welcoming urban neighborhood. Browse the art galleries, stop for a coffee at a favorite Fontainhas café, and let the particular bohemian warmth of this extraordinary quarter settle around you both.

The afternoon belongs to the beach. Vagator and Anjuna - dramatic cliffs, creative crowd, and the most beautiful LGBTQ+ friendly beach shacks in North Goa - are the afternoon's destination. As the sun begins to set, join the gathering crowd on the clifftops above Little Vagator Beach for one of Goa's most spectacular sunset views - the Arabian Sea blazing below, the beach curving away beneath the red laterite cliffs, and the whole world seeming, for a moment, extraordinarily beautiful and entirely welcoming.

Overnight stay in Goa - Boutique Beach Resort.

Day 8 South Goa - Palolem, Agonda & Private Beach Romance

The Most Beautiful Beaches in India - Just for the Two of You

Today takes you to South Goa - quieter, more pristine, more genuinely beautiful than the north, and the perfect destination for a honeymoon couple seeking privacy, serenity, and the most unspoiled beaches in India.

Drive south along the Goa coast to Palolem Beach - a perfect crescent-shaped bay that consistently ranks among the most beautiful beaches in all of Asia, its calm, shallow waters and gently curving shoreline ideal for swimming, kayaking, or simply floating in the warm Arabian Sea together. Continue to Agonda Beach - quieter still, less visited, and consistently voted one of India's finest beaches for its pristine natural setting and genuinely tranquil atmosphere.

Spend the afternoon entirely at the beach of your choice - swimming, reading, watching the fishing boats return, or simply lying in the shade of a coconut palm listening to the sea in complete, uncomplicated peace.

This evening, a private romantic beach dinner has been specially arranged for the two of you - a table set on the beach or at a clifftop restaurant with unobstructed sea views, fresh Goan seafood and wine, candlelight, and the stars appearing above the Arabian Sea as the evening settles. One of those honeymoon dinners that lives in memory permanently and completely.

Overnight stay in Goa - Boutique Beach Resort.

Day 9 Goa Leisure Day

Your Perfect Day - The Beach, the Sea & Complete Freedom

Today is entirely free - a final full day in Goa with no agenda beyond enjoyment, relaxation, and the particular pleasure of being somewhere genuinely beautiful together in complete freedom.

The morning might begin with a yoga session on the beach at sunrise - many of Goa's finest beach resorts offer morning classes in extraordinary natural settings - or simply a long, slow breakfast at your resort with no reason to be anywhere in particular. The day can take any direction that appeals - a cooking class learning to prepare traditional Goan xacuti and bebinca, a spice plantation visit in Goa's lush interior, a gentle exploration of Anjuna's Wednesday Flea Market or Arpora's Saturday Night Market, or simply a day on the beach swimming, reading, and doing absolutely nothing in the most enjoyable possible way.

In Goa, two people in love on a beach with the Arabian Sea before them and nothing particular that needs to be done - there are very few more perfect things anywhere in the world.

Overnight stay in Goa - Boutique Beach Resort.

Day 10 Goa Departure

Farewell from Rainbow Goa - Your Honeymoon Ends Here, Your Life Together Continues

A final leisurely breakfast in Goa - on your resort terrace with the sound of the sea, a last strong Goan coffee, and the warm morning light on the water. Take your time. There is no rush. This is the last morning of your honeymoon in India - and it deserves to be savored slowly and completely.

At the designated time, your private vehicle transfers you to Goa Airport for your onward flight. You leave India as a couple who have floated together on the backwaters of Kerala under a sky full of stars, watched the sun set over the Arabian Sea from a Kerala clifftop, walked hand in hand on the most beautiful beaches in South India, and found in this extraordinary country a place that welcomed your love openly, warmly, and without reservation.

The honeymoon ends here. Everything else begins.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence.   We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
