Same-Sex Couple Golden Triangle Luxury Tour with Taj Hotels :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

A Royal Welcome - The Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi

Your India journey begins the moment you land. At Indira Gandhi International Airport, your personal representative will be waiting with a name board to escort you to your private air-conditioned vehicle. The drive to The Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi - one of the capital's most celebrated five-star addresses, located in the heart of Lutyens' Delhi - sets the tone for everything that follows.

Check in and let the Taj's signature warmth envelop you both. Your elegantly appointed room or suite reflects the finest traditions of Indian hospitality - handcrafted furnishings, immaculate linens, and a level of attentive service that anticipates your needs without ever intruding. The remainder of the day is entirely yours - explore the hotel's beautiful pool and gardens, indulge in a couple's spa treatment, or simply settle into each other's company in one of Delhi's most beautiful settings.

In the evening, dine at one of the Taj's acclaimed restaurants - your guide will meet you briefly to introduce himself and walk you through the wonderful days that lie ahead.

Overnight stay at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.

Day 2 Full Day Delhi Sightseeing

Old Mughal Grandeur & New Delhi Elegance

After a leisurely Taj breakfast, your private English-speaking guide collects you both for a full day of exploration through Old Delhi and New Delhi - two magnificent worlds existing side by side in this extraordinary city.

Begin in Old Delhi with a shared rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk - the ancient market street alive with spice merchants, street food, silk shops, and centuries of living history that makes for one of the most exhilarating and intimate couple's experiences in all of India. Visit the imposing Jama Masjid and the magnificent Red Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose gilded palaces once housed the most powerful court on earth. Pause at the serene Raj Ghat - Gandhi's memorial, set in quiet gardens by the Yamuna River.

Move into New Delhi for a scenic drive past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Parliament House. Visit the soaring Qutub Minar and the hauntingly beautiful Humayun's Tomb - the garden mausoleum that established the architectural language of the Mughal Empire and directly inspired the Taj Mahal.

Return to the hotel for a romantic dinner together - your guide can arrange a special table at the Taj's finest restaurant if you wish.

Overnight stay at The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.

Day 3 Delhi to Agra

The Taj Mahal - Love's Most Perfect Expression

After breakfast and checkout, your private vehicle departs for Agra - approximately 3.5 hours. As you approach the city, there is a quiet excitement that builds - because you are traveling toward one of the most romantic destinations on earth, and you are experiencing it together.

Check into The Taj Hotel & Convention Centre Agra - where the finest rooms offer views of the Taj Mahal monument itself, creating a setting of almost surreal romance. Freshen up before heading out for your first afternoon visit to the Taj Mahal - walking through the Great Gate together, stepping into the vast forecourt, and seeing for the first time the monument that Shah Jahan built to immortalize his love. For same-sex couples, this moment carries a meaning that goes beyond sightseeing - it is a declaration that love in all its forms deserves to be celebrated, honored, and made permanent.

After the Taj Mahal, visit the mighty Agra Fort and the exquisitely carved Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) before returning to the hotel for a candlelit dinner - your team can arrange a special romantic dining setup with advance notice.

Overnight stay at The Taj Hotel & Convention Centre, Agra. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

Day 4 Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Sunrise at the Taj - Then the Pink City Awaits

Rise before dawn for the experience that defines this entire journey - a private sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal as a couple. In the extraordinary light of early morning, with mist rising from the Yamuna River and the monument shifting from silver to the most brilliant white, standing beside your partner at the Taj Mahal at sunrise is one of those rare travel moments that becomes a permanent part of who you are together.

Return to the hotel for a full Taj breakfast before checking out. Begin the scenic drive to Jaipur with a wonderful stop at the perfectly preserved abandoned Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri and the spectacular Chand Baori step wells at Abhaneri - 3,500 steps descending in perfect geometric symmetry, endlessly photogenic and genuinely awe-inspiring.

Arrive in Jaipur in the evening and check into the legendary Rambagh Palace - a Taj Hotel and one of the most romantic places to stay anywhere in the world. Once the private hunting lodge, then the royal guesthouse, then the official residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Rambagh Palace is today a 47-acre masterpiece of Mughal and Rajput architecture set in immaculate gardens, its corridors lined with royal portraits, its suites furnished with antiques, and its atmosphere simultaneously grand and deeply intimate.

Stroll through the palace gardens together as the evening settles, dine at the palace's acclaimed Suvarna Mahal restaurant, and allow yourselves to feel - entirely and without reservation - like royalty.

Overnight stay at Rambagh Palace - A Taj Hotel, Jaipur

Day 5 Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing

Royal Rajasthan - Forts, Palaces & Romantic Evenings

After an indulgent breakfast at Rambagh Palace - perhaps in the garden as peacocks wander the lawns - your private guide takes you both on a full day of sightseeing through Jaipur, the magnificent Pink City of Rajasthan.

Begin with the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - Jaipur's most recognizable landmark, its extraordinary facade of 953 latticed windows creating an image of such delicate beauty that it has become one of India's most beloved architectural symbols. Drive to the commanding Amber Fort - a magnificent hilltop palace of Rajput grandeur, its Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) sparkling with a thousand reflections and its views over the surrounding hills and lake genuinely breathtaking. Pause at the ethereal Jal Mahal (Water Palace) for photographs - the palace appearing to float on the still water of Man Sagar Lake in a setting of serene, painterly beauty.

The afternoon brings visits to the remarkable City Palace - where Jaipur's royal family still resides - the fascinating Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory with the world's largest stone sundial, and a leisurely exploration of Jaipur's famous heritage markets - block-print fabrics, blue pottery, Kundan jewellery, and handcrafted Rajasthani treasures in an irresistible parade of color and craft.

This evening, return to Rambagh Palace for what may be the most romantic dinner of your entire journey - the palace's candlelit gardens, the scent of jasmine in the night air, and the stars of Rajasthan above you creating a setting of extraordinary beauty for a meal together that you will both remember for a very long time.

Overnight stay at Rambagh Palace - A Taj Hotel, Jaipur

Day 6 Jaipur Departure

Farewell from the Palace - Until India Calls You Back

Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast at Rambagh Palace - perhaps your most beautiful breakfast setting of the entire trip, in the palace's sunlit garden as the morning light falls across the lawns and the old royal residence rises around you. Take your time. There is no rush. This is your last morning in India - and it deserves to be savored.

At the designated time, your private vehicle will transfer you to Jaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. You leave India as a couple who have stood together before the Taj Mahal at sunrise, dined in a Maharaja's palace, and discovered that this extraordinary country - ancient, complex, magnificent, and endlessly surprising - has a place in its heart for love in every one of its forms.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence. Thank you Top Indian Holidays!  ...Read More

We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
