Spiritual Luxury India Tour :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, guests are welcomed by the representative of Top Indian Holidays and transferred to their luxury hotel. Delhi introduces travelers to India’s layered cultural identity through its Mughal architecture, colonial avenues and modern cosmopolitan atmosphere. After check-in, the remainder of the day remains relaxed following the international journey.

Later in the evening, enjoy a gentle panoramic drive through New Delhi passing India Gate, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan. The illuminated colonial architecture and broad ceremonial avenues create an elegant introduction to India before the deeper spiritual journey begins.

The evening concludes with fine dining at one of Delhi’s luxury restaurants where guests may enjoy refined Indian cuisine within peaceful surroundings. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi Heritage & Flight to Varanasi

After breakfast, begin a guided exploration of Old and New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid followed by a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk where historic lanes, spice markets and Mughal-era architecture preserve the atmosphere of imperial India.

Continue toward Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar where centuries of Indo-Islamic architecture reveal India’s rich historical evolution. The contrast between Delhi’s royal heritage and the spiritual destinations ahead creates a meaningful transition within the journey.

Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, proceed to your luxury hotel located near the sacred River Ganges. In the evening, witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony where priests perform synchronized rituals with large oil lamps beside the riverfront. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 3 Varanasi Spiritual Experiences

Before sunrise, enjoy a private boat ride along the River Ganges while pilgrims gather for sacred bathing rituals and morning prayers. Watching the ghats slowly awaken beneath the soft morning light creates one of India’s most emotional and spiritually powerful experiences.

Later, explore Varanasi’s ancient temple lanes, flower markets and sacred neighborhoods where traditions continue uninterrupted across generations. Your guide will explain the city’s spiritual significance within Hindu philosophy and why Varanasi remains one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities.

The afternoon remains free for meditation, wellness experiences or optional silk weaving demonstrations introducing Varanasi’s famous textile traditions. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 4 Varanasi to Bodh Gaya

Following breakfast, depart for Bodh Gaya, one of Buddhism’s most sacred pilgrimage destinations and the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment beneath the Bodhi Tree. The drive passes rural landscapes and small villages revealing another side of India beyond major urban centers.

Upon arrival, check into your luxury hotel before visiting the Mahabodhi Temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site attracting Buddhist pilgrims from around the world. Monasteries representing different countries create a peaceful international spiritual atmosphere throughout the town.

Guests may spend quiet time beneath the sacred Bodhi Tree where meditation and reflection create a deeply calming experience. The peaceful environment of Bodh Gaya contrasts beautifully with the energetic spiritual atmosphere of Varanasi. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.

Day 5 Bodh Gaya Spiritual Exploration

This morning begins with a more detailed exploration of Bodh Gaya’s monasteries, meditation areas and Buddhist landmarks. Tibetan, Thai, Japanese and Bhutanese monasteries reflect the global influence of Buddhism while preserving unique architectural and spiritual traditions.

Guests may participate in guided meditation sessions or quiet reflective experiences arranged within peaceful monastery environments. Unlike conventional sightseeing itineraries, the day has been designed with a slower pace encouraging mindfulness and cultural immersion.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy leisure time within the luxury hotel surroundings or explore local markets connected to Buddhist pilgrimage traditions. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.

Day 6 Bodh Gaya to Rishikesh

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight via Delhi to Dehradun followed by a scenic drive to Rishikesh. Located beside the River Ganges and surrounded by Himalayan foothills, Rishikesh remains internationally known for yoga, meditation and wellness traditions.

Upon arrival, check into your luxury wellness retreat where peaceful river views, mountain air and holistic hospitality create an atmosphere ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. Unlike the historical intensity of Varanasi and Bodh Gaya, Rishikesh offers serenity and connection with nature.

The evening may include meditation sessions, wellness consultations or riverside relaxation experiences within the resort surroundings. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 7 Rishikesh Wellness & Yoga Experiences

This morning begins with guided yoga and meditation sessions overlooking the River Ganges and surrounding Himalayan foothills. Rishikesh has attracted spiritual seekers, yoga practitioners and wellness travelers from around the world for decades because of its peaceful atmosphere and spiritual traditions.

Later, visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula where temples, ashrams and riverside cafés create a calm and reflective environment. Guests may also explore selected spiritual centers introducing yoga philosophy, Ayurvedic traditions and mindfulness practices.

The afternoon remains free for Ayurvedic therapies, spa treatments or quiet relaxation beside the river. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 8 Rishikesh & Haridwar Spiritual Rituals

After breakfast, continue enjoying wellness and relaxation experiences within Rishikesh before proceeding toward Haridwar later in the afternoon. Haridwar remains one of Hinduism’s holiest cities where pilgrims gather beside the River Ganges for sacred rituals and spiritual ceremonies.

Visit Har Ki Pauri ghat where evening prayers and river rituals create an extraordinary spiritual atmosphere. As lamps float across the Ganges and devotional chants fill the air, guests witness one of North India’s most meaningful religious ceremonies.

Return to Rishikesh in the evening where the peaceful Himalayan environment provides a relaxing conclusion to the day’s spiritual experiences. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 9 Rishikesh Leisure & Himalayan Wellness

After breakfast, the day remains dedicated to wellness, reflection and relaxation within the peaceful surroundings of Rishikesh. Guests may begin the morning with yoga sessions, guided meditation or Ayurvedic therapies designed to restore physical and mental balance. The calm atmosphere of the Himalayan foothills and the gentle flow of the River Ganges create an environment naturally suited for inner peace and rejuvenation.

Unlike crowded urban destinations, Rishikesh encourages travelers to slow down and disconnect from routine life. Guests may spend time reading beside the river, enjoying wellness consultations or participating in mindfulness experiences arranged through the luxury retreat. Optional nature walks and riverside meditation sessions can also be organized depending on personal interests.

Later in the evening, enjoy a farewell wellness dinner focused on healthy Indian cuisine and fresh regional ingredients. The peaceful mountain atmosphere provides a meaningful conclusion to the spiritual and wellness-focused journey across India. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 10 Rishikesh to Delhi

Following breakfast, depart for Delhi through scenic Himalayan foothill landscapes and countryside roads. The gradual transition from the peaceful spiritual environment of Rishikesh toward India’s capital city creates a balanced conclusion to the journey.

Upon arrival in Delhi, check into your luxury hotel where the remainder of the day remains free for relaxation, shopping or leisure depending on international flight schedules. Guests may explore luxury boutiques, artisan galleries and wellness-focused experiences within the city.

The evening may include a farewell fine dining experience celebrating the remarkable journey through India’s sacred cities, spiritual traditions and wellness destinations. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 11 Departure from Delhi

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence. Thank you Top Indian Holidays!  ...Read More

We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
