Mumbai, India’s financial and cultural capital, presents a dynamic contrast of colonial heritage, modern luxury and Arabian Sea waterfronts. After check-in, the remainder of the day remains free for relaxation following the international journey.

Later in the evening, enjoy a panoramic drive along Marine Drive while the city skyline gradually illuminates beside the Arabian Sea. The elegant promenade, colonial architecture and vibrant urban atmosphere introduce guests to a completely different side of India compared to Rajasthan’s royal cities.

The evening concludes with fine dining at one of Mumbai’s celebrated luxury restaurants where guests may enjoy coastal Indian cuisine or international specialties within sophisticated surroundings. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 2 Mumbai Heritage Exploration

After breakfast, begin a guided exploration of Mumbai’s colonial and cultural landmarks. Visit the iconic Gateway of India overlooking the Arabian Sea before continuing toward Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, one of India’s finest examples of Victorian Gothic architecture.

Continue through the Kala Ghoda district where art galleries, heritage cafés and colonial-era buildings preserve the city’s cosmopolitan identity shaped through centuries of international trade. Guests may also visit Mani Bhavan associated with Mahatma Gandhi’s political activities during India’s independence movement.

The afternoon remains free for shopping or leisure. Mumbai offers excellent luxury shopping experiences including designer boutiques, jewelry houses and contemporary Indian fashion stores. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 3 Mumbai to Udaipur

Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Udaipur. Upon arrival, proceed to your luxury lakeside palace hotel where elegant architecture and peaceful surroundings immediately introduce the romantic atmosphere of Rajasthan’s lake region.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a private boat ride on Lake Pichola passing the famous Lake Palace and Jag Mandir while sunset colors reflect beautifully across the water. Surrounded by lakes and the Aravalli Hills, Udaipur offers one of India’s most elegant and visually stunning travel experiences.

The evening remains free for rooftop dining, spa treatments or quiet relaxation overlooking the illuminated palaces and lakeside scenery. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 4 Udaipur Royal Heritage

This morning begins with a guided exploration of Udaipur’s magnificent City Palace complex overlooking Lake Pichola. Marble balconies, ornate courtyards, mirror-work halls and royal chambers preserve centuries of Mewar dynasty history while offering panoramic views across the surrounding lakes and hills.

Continue toward Jagdish Temple before exploring sections of the old city known for miniature paintings, silver jewelry and handcrafted textiles. Unlike heavily commercialized shopping districts, many artisan workshops here still preserve traditional artistic techniques passed through generations.

Later, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, the elegant royal gardens built for princesses and noblewomen. Marble fountains, lotus pools and shaded pathways create a peaceful atmosphere ideal for relaxed sightseeing. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 5 Udaipur to Jodhpur

After breakfast, continue toward Jodhpur through scenic countryside and sections of the Aravalli Hills. Along the route, travelers encounter rural villages, marble workshops and changing desert landscapes before arriving in Rajasthan’s famous Blue City.

Upon arrival, check into your luxury heritage hotel before beginning evening exploration. Dominated by the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur carries a strong warrior identity shaped by centuries of Rajput history. The contrast between the massive fort walls and the sea of blue-painted houses below creates one of Rajasthan’s most dramatic cityscapes.

The evening concludes with rooftop dining overlooking the illuminated fort while traditional Marwari cuisine and live folk music create an authentic Rajasthan atmosphere. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 6 Jodhpur Royal Heritage

This morning begins with a guided tour of Mehrangarh Fort, regarded as one of India’s grandest and best-preserved forts. Massive gateways lead into richly decorated palaces filled with stained glass, carved balconies and royal museum collections preserving the history of the Rathore dynasty.

From the fort terraces, panoramic views across Jodhpur’s blue old city create exceptional photography opportunities. Your guide will explain the fort’s military importance as well as the refined artistic traditions of Rajasthan’s royal courts.

Later, continue toward Jaswant Thada, the elegant marble cenotaph built beside a peaceful lake. The afternoon remains flexible for shopping, spa experiences or relaxation at the hotel. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 7 Jodhpur to Samode

Following breakfast, depart for Samode, one of Rajasthan’s most charming heritage destinations known for its intimate palace atmosphere and aristocratic history. Unlike Rajasthan’s larger royal cities, Samode offers a quieter and more exclusive experience surrounded by rural landscapes and historic architecture.

Upon arrival, check into the magnificent Samode Palace where intricately painted halls, mirror-work interiors and elegant courtyards preserve the grandeur of Rajasthan’s princely era. The palace’s heritage atmosphere creates one of the most authentic royal stay experiences in India.

The remainder of the day remains relaxed allowing guests to enjoy the palace surroundings, heritage architecture and personalized hospitality. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Samode.

Day 8 Samode Palace Experiences

This morning begins with a relaxed exploration of Samode Palace and the surrounding countryside. Guests may enjoy guided walks through the village, camel cart experiences or simply spend time appreciating the intricate artwork and architectural beauty preserved within the palace interiors.

Unlike larger tourist destinations, Samode offers a slower and more intimate atmosphere ideal for travelers seeking luxury, tranquility and cultural authenticity. The combination of heritage architecture and personalized service creates a deeply memorable Rajasthan experience.

The evening may include traditional folk performances, candlelit dining or royal-style hospitality arrangements within the palace courtyards. Overnight stay in Samode.

Day 9 Samode to Jaipur

After breakfast, depart for Jaipur, Rajasthan’s celebrated Pink City known for royal palaces, colorful bazaars and artistic traditions. The short drive from Samode to Jaipur gradually transitions from peaceful countryside landscapes toward the grandeur of one of India’s most famous royal capitals.

Upon arrival, check into your luxury palace hotel before beginning afternoon sightseeing. Visit the City Palace complex where royal courtyards, ceremonial halls and museum collections preserve the legacy of Jaipur’s ruling family. Nearby, explore Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory showcasing remarkable scientific instruments built centuries before modern technology.

The evening remains free for shopping or leisure. Jaipur is internationally known for gemstones, hand-block textiles, carpets and handcrafted jewelry. Luxury boutiques and artisan workshops create exceptional shopping opportunities for travelers interested in heritage craftsmanship. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 10 Jaipur Royal Heritage

This morning begins with a guided visit to Amber Fort located above the surrounding hills outside Jaipur. Explore mirror-work halls, painted chambers, royal courtyards and hidden passageways while learning about the Rajput rulers who once governed the region. The combination of military architecture and artistic elegance makes Amber Fort one of Rajasthan’s most admired landmarks.

Continue toward Jal Mahal and Hawa Mahal where Jaipur’s royal architecture reflects the sophistication of Rajput design and urban planning. Your guide will explain how royal women once observed city life through the intricate windows of the Palace of Winds while remaining hidden from public view.

Later in the afternoon, guests may enjoy curated cultural experiences including artisan visits, cooking demonstrations or spa treatments within the luxury hotel. Watching sunset across Jaipur’s royal skyline creates one of the journey’s most memorable moments. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 11 Jaipur to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

Following breakfast, depart for Agra with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri en route. Built by Emperor Akbar during the 16th century, the abandoned Mughal capital still preserves magnificent gateways, royal courtyards and red sandstone palaces reflecting the grandeur of the Mughal Empire during its peak.

Your guide will explain the fascinating history behind the city’s construction and sudden abandonment while introducing the architectural brilliance of Mughal planning and design. Unlike many historical sites, Fatehpur Sikri still preserves a remarkably complete impression of imperial court life.

Continue onward to Agra and check into your luxury hotel. The evening remains relaxed allowing guests to enjoy the atmosphere of Mughal India before the following morning’s Taj Mahal experience. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 12 Taj Mahal Sunrise & Delhi

Early this morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise when the marble monument glows softly beneath the changing morning light. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal remains one of the world’s greatest architectural masterpieces and a timeless symbol of love.

Your guide will explain the monument’s symmetry, marble inlay artistry and extraordinary craftsmanship while guests explore the gardens and mausoleum complex. The peaceful atmosphere during sunrise creates an especially emotional and unforgettable experience.

Return to the hotel for breakfast before driving toward Delhi. Upon arrival, check into your luxury hotel where the remainder of the evening remains free for relaxation or farewell dining experiences. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 13 Departure from Delhi

Following breakfast, transfer to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey. Assistance will be provided throughout the departure process to ensure a smooth and comfortable conclusion to your royal Rajasthan holiday.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence.   We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
