Luxury LGBTQ+ Golden Triangle Tour with Oberoi Hotels :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

A Grand Welcome - The Oberoi New Delhi

Upon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, a senior representative from Top Indian Holidays will be waiting to receive you with a personalized name board. You will be transferred in a premium, air-conditioned luxury vehicle to the magnificent The Oberoi New Delhi - one of the Indian capital's most celebrated five-star addresses, ideally located in the heart of the city with stunning views of the Delhi Golf Course and Humayun's Tomb.

Check in and allow yourself to be enveloped in the Oberoi's signature blend of warm Indian hospitality and world-class luxury. Your elegantly appointed room or suite awaits - think handcrafted furnishings, deep soaking bathtubs, floor-to-ceiling windows, and butler service that anticipates your every need before you even ask.

The remainder of the day is entirely at your leisure. Unwind at the Oberoi Spa, take a dip in the rooftop pool, or simply settle into the extraordinary comfort of your suite and let Delhi come to you. In the evening, dine at one of the Oberoi's acclaimed restaurants - a perfect introduction to the culinary excellence that will accompany you throughout this journey.

Your guide will meet you this evening to personally brief you on the itinerary ahead and answer any questions.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi New Delhi.

Day 2 Full Day Delhi Sightseeing

Mughal Majesty & Modern Elegance - Old Delhi & New Delhi

After a sumptuous breakfast at The Oberoi, your private English-speaking luxury guide will collect you for a comprehensive and deeply immersive exploration of both Old Delhi and New Delhi.

Begin in the heart of Old Delhi with a private rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk - one of Asia's oldest and most atmospheric markets, a sensory explosion of spices, silks, street food, and centuries of living history. Visit the awe-inspiring Jama Masjid - India's largest mosque, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1656 - and the magnificent Red Fort, whose red sandstone ramparts once housed the most powerful court on earth. Pay your respects at the serene Raj Ghat - the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, set in beautifully manicured gardens beside the Yamuna River.

Cross into New Delhi for a scenic drive past the ceremonial grandeur of India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (the Presidential Palace), and Parliament House. The afternoon is dedicated to two of Delhi's greatest UNESCO World Heritage Sites - the soaring Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret rising 73 meters above the surrounding ruins, and the sublimely proportioned Humayun's Tomb - the garden tomb that directly inspired every architectural element of the Taj Mahal.

Return to The Oberoi in the evening for dinner at the hotel's award-winning restaurant - a meal that, like everything at the Oberoi, will be quietly, effortlessly extraordinary.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi New Delhi.

Day 3 Delhi to Agra

The Oberoi Amarvilas - Where Every Room Faces the Taj Mahal

After a leisurely breakfast and hotel checkout, your luxury private vehicle whisks you smoothly toward Agra - approximately 3.5 hours along the Yamuna Expressway. As you approach the city, the anticipation builds - because you are about to check into one of the most extraordinary hotel experiences on the planet.

The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra is consistently ranked among the top ten hotels in the world - and for breathtakingly good reason. Situated just 600 meters from the Taj Mahal, every single room and suite in this magnificent property has been designed to offer an unobstructed, direct view of the Taj Mahal. You will see the Taj Mahal from your bed. From your bathtub. From your private terrace as you sip your morning tea. For LGBTQ+ travelers who have dreamed of this moment - it is simply beyond description.

After checking in and taking a few moments to absorb the extraordinary view from your room, head out for your first visit to the Taj Mahal itself - entering through the Great Gate as the late afternoon sun turns the white marble to shades of gold and amber. Your private guide will bring the history and the love story of the Taj Mahal alive in a way that no guidebook ever could.

Follow your Taj Mahal visit with an exploration of the mighty Agra Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and the intricately carved Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). Return to The Oberoi Amarvilas for a candlelit dinner with the Taj Mahal glowing in the distance - an evening that will remain with you for the rest of your life.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

Day 4 Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Sunrise at the Taj - Then Onward to the Pink City

Set your alarm a little earlier this morning - because a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal from The Oberoi Amarvilas is one of the most spectacular experiences available anywhere in the world. Watch from your private terrace as the first light of dawn touches the marble and the monument transforms from shadow into pure luminous white - a sight of almost supernatural beauty.

After this unforgettable beginning to the day, enjoy a full Oberoi breakfast before checking out and beginning the scenic drive to Jaipur - approximately 5 hours. En route, stop at the perfectly preserved abandoned Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri - Emperor Akbar's 16th century masterpiece, deserted after just 15 years due to water scarcity and now frozen in extraordinary architectural time. Continue to the spectacular Chand Baori step wells at Abhaneri - 3,500 steps descending 20 meters in perfect geometric symmetry, one of Rajasthan's most photogenic and magical sites.

Arrive in Jaipur in the evening and check into the incomparable The Oberoi Rajvilas - a 32-acre luxury retreat set among rose gardens, fountains, peacock-filled grounds, and a restored 250-year-old Shiva temple. Private pool villas, handcrafted Rajasthani décor, and service of the very highest order await you in what many consider the finest hotel in all of Rajasthan.

Settle in, explore the grounds as the evening light turns golden, and dine in style at the Oberoi Rajvilas restaurant.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur.

Day 5 Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing

The Pink City in All Its Royal Glory

After an indulgent breakfast at The Oberoi Rajvilas - perhaps beside the pool or in the beautiful garden - your private guide collects you for a full and deeply satisfying day of sightseeing in Jaipur, the magnificent Pink City and former capital of the Rajput kingdom of Amber.

Begin with an iconic photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - Jaipur's most recognized landmark, its extraordinary five-storey facade of 953 latticed windows and honeycombed niches designed to create natural ventilation and allow royal ladies to observe street festivals while remaining unseen. Drive next to the spectacular Amber Fort - perched commandingly on a hilltop above Maota Lake, its succession of courtyards, palaces, and halls reflecting the finest fusion of Rajput and Mughal architectural traditions. Pause at Jal Mahal (Water Palace) for photographs - this ethereal five-storey palace appears to float on the surface of Man Sagar Lake, surrounded by the Aravalli Hills.

The afternoon takes you into the heart of the walled city for visits to the City Palace - where the Maharaja of Jaipur still resides - and the remarkable Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing the world's largest stone sundial. Finish at the Albert Hall Museum before heading into Jaipur's legendary heritage markets for an evening of leisurely exploration and shopping.

Return to The Oberoi Rajvilas for a final evening of pure luxury - perhaps a treatment at the Oberoi Spa, a candlelit dinner in the garden, or simply a quiet drink by the pool under a sky full of Rajasthan stars.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur.

Day 6 Jaipur Departure

Farewell from the Pink City

Enjoy a final sumptuous Oberoi breakfast at your leisure before checking out of The Oberoi Rajvilas. The morning is free - perhaps a final walk through the beautiful hotel gardens, a last cup of chai on your private terrace, or a quick return to the markets for any remaining shopping.

At the designated time, your private luxury vehicle will transfer you to Jaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey - carrying with you the memories of an India experienced at its most magnificent, most personal, and most unforgettable.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence. Thank you Top Indian Holidays!  ...Read More

We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
