Day 2 Full Day Delhi Sightseeing

Old Delhi & New Delhi - History, Culture & Color

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, your private English-speaking guide will take you on a comprehensive tour of both Old Delhi and New Delhi - two worlds that exist side by side in this magnificent city.

Begin in Old Delhi with a thrilling rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk - one of Asia's oldest and busiest markets, alive with the aromas of street food, the sound of temple bells, and the colors of a thousand silk fabrics. Visit the magnificent Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques, and the imposing Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors.

From there, move to New Delhi to visit Raj Ghat - the serene memorial to Mahatma Gandhi - followed by a scenic drive past India Gate, Parliament House, and the grand Presidential Palace. The afternoon brings visits to the extraordinary Qutub Minar - the world's tallest brick minaret - and the beautifully haunting Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO masterpiece that inspired the design of the Taj Mahal itself.

End the day with dinner at your hotel or at a recommended restaurant nearby.

Overnight stay in Delhi

Day 3 Delhi to Agra

The City of the Taj Mahal - A Monument Built for Love

After breakfast, check out from your Delhi hotel and begin the scenic drive to Agra - approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by private car. Agra was once the magnificent capital of the Mughal Empire, and its monuments remain among the most breathtaking on earth.

Upon arrival, check into your LGBTQ+ friendly hotel in Agra. After freshening up, begin your afternoon sightseeing with a visit to the legendary Taj Mahal - a monument universally recognized as the world's greatest symbol of eternal love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. As an LGBTQ+ traveler, standing before the Taj Mahal - this breathtaking tribute to love in all its forms - is a profoundly moving experience.

After the Taj Mahal, visit the magnificent Agra Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and the exquisitely carved Itmad-Ud-Daulah (also known as the Baby Taj). Return to your hotel for dinner and rest.

Overnight stay in Agra. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

Day 4 Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

The Pink City Awaits - Romance, Royalty & Rajasthan

Rise early this morning for a magical sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal - widely considered the most beautiful time to experience this wonder of the world. The soft golden light of dawn on the white marble is an image you will carry with you forever.

Return to your hotel for breakfast and check out. Begin the scenic drive to Jaipur - approximately 5 hours - with a wonderful en route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the perfectly preserved abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, and the stunning Chand Baori step wells of Abhaneri - one of Rajasthan's most photogenic hidden gems.

Arrive in Jaipur in the evening and check into your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming heritage hotel. Jaipur is one of India's most romantic cities - its rose-pink buildings, rooftop restaurants, and palace hotels make it a particular favorite among gay honeymoon couples and LGBTQ+ travelers seeking beauty, culture, and luxury.

Overnight stay in Jaipur

Day 5 Jaipur Sightseeing & Departure

The Pink City - Forts, Palaces & Farewell

Enjoy a royal breakfast at your hotel before beginning your final day of sightseeing in Jaipur - the Pink City and the jewel of Rajasthan.

Start with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - Jaipur's most iconic landmark, its 953 small windows designed to allow royal ladies to observe street life below. Then drive to the magnificent Amber Fort - a stunning hilltop palace complex with breathtaking views - followed by a visit to Jal Mahal (Water Palace), beautifully situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

The afternoon brings visits to the City Palace - still partially home to Jaipur's royal family - the fascinating Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, and the Albert Hall Museum. End your Jaipur experience with a leisurely walk through the city's vibrant heritage markets - perfect for picking up Jaipuri block-print fabrics, blue pottery, Kundan jewelry, and handcrafted souvenirs.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence. Thank you Top Indian Holidays!  ...Read More

We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
