Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you before escorting you to your luxury hotel. India’s capital city introduces travelers to a fascinating blend of Mughal heritage, colonial elegance, modern architecture, and vibrant urban culture. After your international journey, the day is intentionally planned at a relaxed pace allowing time to settle comfortably before beginning the grand exploration across North India.

Depending on your arrival timing, enjoy a leisurely orientation drive through New Delhi where broad avenues, colonial-era landmarks, diplomatic districts, and upscale commercial areas reflect the city’s sophisticated character. The contrast between historical architecture and contemporary infrastructure immediately creates an engaging first impression of India.

Later in the evening, relax at your luxury hotel or enjoy dinner at one of Delhi’s renowned fine-dining restaurants specializing in refined Indian cuisine. Your tour coordinator will also provide a detailed overview regarding the upcoming heritage, spiritual, and wildlife experiences included in the itinerary. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi Sightseeing

The morning begins with a guided exploration of Old Delhi where Mughal monuments, bustling bazaars, spice markets, and narrow historic lanes continue to preserve the atmosphere of medieval India. Enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk while observing colorful local life and vibrant street culture.

Visit Jama Masjid, one of India’s grandest mosques built during the Mughal era by Emperor Shah Jahan. The elegant architecture and massive courtyards provide excellent insight into Delhi’s Mughal heritage and Islamic artistic traditions.

Later, continue toward New Delhi where broad colonial avenues and landscaped districts create a striking contrast to the crowded old city. Visits to India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar further showcase Delhi’s architectural richness and UNESCO-recognized heritage. Return to your luxury hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 3 Delhi to Varanasi

Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and among Hinduism’s most sacred pilgrimage destinations. Situated beside the River Ganges, the city presents a spiritual atmosphere unlike anywhere else in India.

Upon arrival, transfer to your luxury hotel before relaxing briefly ahead of the evening cultural experience. Ancient riverside ghats, sacred shrines, flower vendors, priests, and pilgrims together create a timeless environment where centuries-old traditions continue uninterrupted every day.

At sunset, attend the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony where priests perform synchronized rituals using lamps, incense, chants, and sacred fire beside the flowing River Ganges. The illuminated ghats, devotional energy, and spiritual atmosphere create one of the most unforgettable experiences of the journey. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 4 Varanasi Sightseeing

Before sunrise, enjoy an early morning boat ride on the River Ganges while witnessing pilgrims performing prayers, meditation, holy baths, and sacred rituals along the ghats. As daylight gradually spreads across the ancient city, the atmosphere feels timeless and deeply spiritual.

After breakfast, continue exploring Varanasi’s old city including sacred temples, narrow lanes, silk weaving areas, and bustling local markets. Your guide will explain the significance of various ghats and traditions that continue to shape everyday life in one of India’s holiest cities.

Later in the afternoon, proceed for an excursion to Sarnath, one of Buddhism’s most important pilgrimage destinations where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment. Ancient ruins, monasteries, landscaped gardens, and peaceful temple complexes create a calm and reflective atmosphere. Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 5 Varanasi to Khajuraho

Compared to Varanasi’s spiritual river atmosphere, Khajuraho presents a quieter and more artistic cultural experience.

Upon arrival, check into your luxury hotel before beginning the sightseeing exploration. Built between the 10th and 12th centuries by the Chandela dynasty, the temples of Khajuraho represent one of India’s greatest achievements in stone craftsmanship and architectural design.

The vibrant markets and artisan culture make Jaipur one of Rajasthan’s most engaging destinations for luxury travelers. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 10 Jaipur Sightseeing

The day begins with an excursion to Amber Fort located amidst the Aravalli Hills outside Jaipur. Massive gateways, decorative courtyards, mirror-work halls, and beautifully painted royal chambers reveal the grandeur of Rajput architecture and royal lifestyle from earlier centuries.

After returning to the city, continue sightseeing with visits to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. The City Palace beautifully combines Mughal and Rajput design influences while Jantar Mantar demonstrates India’s remarkable scientific achievements through giant astronomical instruments.

Continue toward Udaipur where the landscapes gradually become greener and more peaceful compared to Rajasthan’s desert cities. Upon arrival, check into your luxury palace-style hotel overlooking Lake Pichola or the surrounding hills. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 14 Udaipur Sightseeing

The day begins with a guided exploration of the magnificent City Palace complex overlooking Lake Pichola. Elegant courtyards, royal apartments, decorative balconies, museums, and panoramic terraces reveal the grandeur of the Mewar dynasty and Rajasthan’s royal legacy.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
