Gay & Lesbian Golden Triangle Tour with Goa :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Welcome to India - Your LGBTQ+ Adventure Begins

Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, a representative from Top Indian Holidays will be waiting to greet you warmly with a personalized name board. You will be transferred comfortably in a private air-conditioned vehicle to your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming hotel in Delhi.

The rest of the day is entirely yours - relax, settle in, and absorb the excitement of arriving in one of the world's most extraordinary cities. If energy permits, your driver can take you for an informal evening drive past India Gate and Connaught Place - Delhi's beating heart after dark. Your guide will brief you on the next day's itinerary and ensure you are completely comfortable and ready for the journey ahead.

Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 Full Day Delhi Sightseeing

Old Mughal Grandeur Meets Modern Energy

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, your private English-speaking guide takes you on a full day exploration of both Old Delhi and New Delhi - two magnificent worlds existing side by side.

Begin in Old Delhi with a thrilling rickshaw ride through the chaotic, colorful, and completely captivating lanes of Chandni Chowk - Asia's oldest market, alive with street food, spice merchants, silk shops, and the sounds of temple bells. Visit the towering Jama Masjid - one of India's largest mosques - and the historic Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once served as the seat of Mughal power for nearly 200 years. Pay your respects at Raj Ghat - the peaceful memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

Move into New Delhi for a scenic drive past India Gate, Parliament House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan. The afternoon brings visits to the soaring Qutub Minar - the world's tallest brick minaret - and the hauntingly beautiful Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO masterpiece that directly inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.

End the day with dinner at your hotel or at a recommended restaurant in the city.

Overnight stay in Delhi

Day 3 Delhi to Agra

A City Built for Love - The Taj Mahal Awaits

After breakfast and hotel checkout, begin the comfortable drive to Agra - approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by private car. Once the magnificent capital of the Mughal Empire, Agra is home to some of the most breathtaking architecture the world has ever seen.

Check into your LGBTQ+ friendly hotel and freshen up before heading out for an afternoon visit to the Taj Mahal - the world's most iconic monument to love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. For LGBTQ+ travelers, the Taj Mahal holds a particularly powerful resonance - a monument that declares to the world that love, in all its forms, deserves to be celebrated and immortalized.

After the Taj Mahal, visit the formidable Agra Fort - another UNESCO World Heritage Site - and the delicately carved Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), an exquisite marble mausoleum that predates the Taj Mahal and inspired many of its finest design elements.

Return to your hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Overnight stay in Agra. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday

Day 4 Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Into the Pink City - Rajasthan's Royal Heart

Wake up early for a breathtaking sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal - widely regarded as the most magical time to experience this wonder of the world. The soft dawn light on white marble, with mist rising from the Yamuna River behind, creates an image of extraordinary beauty that no photograph can fully capture.

Return to your hotel for breakfast and check out. Begin the scenic drive to Jaipur - approximately 5 hours - with an unforgettable en route stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the hauntingly preserved abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Continue to the remarkable Chand Baori step wells at Abhaneri - one of Rajasthan's most spectacular and photographed hidden gems, with 3,500 narrow steps descending 20 meters into the earth.

Arrive in Jaipur in the evening and check into your LGBTQ+ welcoming heritage hotel. Jaipur is among India's most romantic cities - its rose-pink architecture, rooftop restaurants glowing at sunset, and extraordinary palace hotels make it one of the most popular destinations for gay honeymoon couples and LGBTQ+ luxury travelers across the world.

Overnight stay in Jaipur

Day 5 Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing

The Pink City - Palaces, Forts & Royal Markets

Begin with a royal breakfast at your hotel before setting out for a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur - one of India's most spectacular and photogenic cities.

Start with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - Jaipur's most recognizable landmark, its extraordinary honeycomb facade of 953 latticed windows designed to allow the royal ladies of the court to observe street life while remaining unseen. Drive to the magnificent Amber Fort perched dramatically on a hilltop - a stunning complex of palaces, halls, and gardens that ranks among Rajasthan's finest architectural achievements. En route, pause at Jal Mahal (Water Palace) - a five-storey palace appearing to float serenely on the surface of Man Sagar Lake.

The afternoon brings visits to the City Palace - still partially home to the Jaipur royal family - the extraordinary Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory built in 1727, and the Albert Hall Museum with its impressive collection of Rajasthani art and artefacts.

End the day with a leisurely walk through Jaipur's famous heritage markets - ideal for picking up block-print fabrics, blue pottery, Kundan-Meena jewellery, leather goods, and handcrafted Rajasthani souvenirs to take home.

Overnight stay in Jaipur

Day 6 Jaipur to Goa by Flight

From Royal Rajasthan to Rainbow Goa

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and transfer to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Goa - India's most celebrated beach destination and its most openly LGBTQ+ welcoming state.

Upon arrival at Goa Airport, you will be greeted by your Top Indian Holidays representative and transferred to your pre-selected LGBTQ+ friendly beach resort or boutique hotel. The rest of the afternoon is entirely yours - change into something comfortable, step onto the beach, order your first Goa cocktail, and let the warm sea breeze and the sound of waves wash away every care.

Goa's unique identity - shaped by 450 years of Portuguese colonial rule - gives it a social openness, a relaxed cosmopolitan energy, and a genuine spirit of inclusion that sets it apart from anywhere else in India. Gay and lesbian travelers consistently rate Goa as their favorite destination in the entire country - and once you arrive, you will immediately understand why.

In the evening, explore the vibrant beach scene of North Goa - Baga, Anjuna, and Calangute beaches come alive at sunset with music, markets, beachside restaurants, and Goa's legendary warm hospitality.

Overnight stay in Goa

Day 7 North Goa Sightseeing & Beach Day

Beaches, Heritage & Goa's LGBTQ+ Friendly Vibe

After a relaxed breakfast, set out to explore the best of North Goa with your private guide and vehicle.

Begin with a visit to Old Goa - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's most remarkable colonial quarters. The magnificent Basilica of Bom Jesus, which houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, and the grand Se Cathedral - one of the largest churches in Asia - are among the most stunning examples of Portuguese Baroque architecture anywhere in the world.

Continue to Panaji - Goa's charming, laid-back capital - and explore the colorful Latin Quarter of Fontainhas, a heritage neighborhood of narrow cobblestone lanes, pastel-painted houses, art galleries, and quirky cafes that has become increasingly popular among LGBTQ+ travelers for its creative, bohemian atmosphere.

The afternoon is free for beach time - your guide can recommend the best beaches based on your mood. Vagator and Anjuna are known for their dramatic cliffs, artistic crowd, and LGBTQ+ friendly beach shacks. Baga and Calangute are perfect for watersports and people-watching. In the evening, explore Goa's nightlife - from beachside bonfires to music venues, Goa after dark has an energy all its own.

Overnight stay in Goa

Day 8 South Goa - Peaceful Beaches & Sunset Dinners

Luxury, Serenity & Romance in South Goa

Today is dedicated entirely to the quieter, more luxurious world of South Goa - a world away from the bustle of the north, with pristine white beaches, swaying palms, and some of Goa's finest boutique resorts and seafood restaurants.

Visit Colva Beach, Palolem Beach - one of India's most beautiful crescent-shaped bays - and Agonda Beach, consistently rated among the best beaches in all of Asia for its tranquility, natural beauty, and genuinely welcoming atmosphere. South Goa is a particular favorite among lesbian couples and LGBTQ+ travelers seeking privacy, romance, and a slower pace.

Spend the afternoon at the beach - swimming, reading, or simply watching the world drift by. As the sun begins to set over the Arabian Sea, find a perfect spot on the beach or at a clifftop restaurant for one of Goa's legendary sunset dinners - fresh seafood, cold drinks, and the sky turning every shade of orange and pink above the ocean.

Overnight stay in Goa

Day 9 Goa Departure

Until We Meet Again - Farewell from Rainbow Goa

Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast in Goa - perhaps on your hotel terrace, listening to the sea one last time. The morning is free for any last-minute exploration, souvenir shopping at Anjuna Flea Market or Mapusa Market, or simply a final quiet walk on the beach.

At the designated time, you will be transferred from your hotel to Goa Airport for your onward flight - carrying with you the memories of an extraordinary journey across India's most magnificent cities and its most beautiful beaches.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence.   We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
