Gay Honeymoon Ultimate India Luxury Tour — Palaces, Lakes & Beaches :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Welcome to India — Your Honeymoon Begins

This is the first day of your honeymoon in India. At Indira Gandhi International Airport, your senior representative will be waiting to escort you both to your premium private vehicle — a luxury sedan or SUV, immaculate and air-conditioned, your bags taken care of from the moment you land. Transfer to your pre-selected five-star luxury hotel in Delhi.

A special honeymoon welcome will be waiting in your room — flowers, a personal welcome note, and a small gesture that marks the beginning of this extraordinary journey together. The rest of the day is entirely yours — the hotel pool, the spa, or simply the pleasure of being in a beautiful hotel room in one of the world's great cities with someone you love. Your guide meets you this evening to introduce himself warmly and brief you on the 16 days ahead.

Overnight stay in Delhi — Five-Star Luxury Hotel.

Day 2 Full Day Delhi Sightseeing

The City That Has Always Celebrated Love in Stone

After a leisurely hotel breakfast, your private guide takes you on a full and enjoyable day through both Old Delhi and New Delhi — covering the city's finest monuments at a pace that feels generous rather than rushed.

Begin with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk — the ancient market street alive with centuries of history and present-tense energy that makes for one of the most exhilarating and genuinely romantic couple's experiences in all of India. Visit the magnificent Jama Masjid, the historic Red Fort, and the serene Raj Ghat before moving into New Delhi for the soaring Qutub Minar and the hauntingly beautiful Humayun's Tomb — the garden mausoleum built by a devoted empress for her emperor husband, its story carrying a particular resonance for a couple beginning their life together in its shadow.

Drive past India Gate and through the grand avenues of Lutyens' Delhi before returning to your hotel. This evening, dinner at one of Delhi's finest restaurants — your guide can arrange a table at a celebrated restaurant that reflects the very best of contemporary Indian cuisine. A proper honeymoon first evening in India.

Overnight stay in Delhi — Five-Star Luxury Hotel.

Day 3 Delhi to Agra

The Oberoi Amarvilas — Where the Taj Mahal Is Always Before You

After breakfast and checkout, your premium vehicle departs for Agra — approximately 3.5 hours. You are traveling toward one of the most romantic destinations on earth — and checking into one of the most extraordinarily situated hotels in the world.

The Oberoi Amarvilas sits 600 meters from the Taj Mahal with direct monument views from every single room. You will see the Taj Mahal from your bed, from your bathtub, from your private terrace. For a gay or lesbian couple on their honeymoon — arriving at The Oberoi Amarvilas and seeing the Taj Mahal for the first time through your room window is a moment of almost surreal romantic perfection.

In the late afternoon, head out for your first visit to the Taj Mahal together — walking through the Great Gate and seeing this wonder of the world for the first time in person. No photograph has ever captured what it feels like to stand before the Taj Mahal — the sheer perfection of its proportions, the luminous quality of the marble, and the extraordinary emotional weight of a building created entirely as an act of love. For a couple in love, beginning their life together — it is simply everything it should be.

After the Taj, visit the formidable Agra Fort before returning to The Oberoi Amarvilas for a candlelit dinner with the Taj Mahal glowing in the distance — the most romantic dinner setting in India, and perhaps in the world.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra. Note: The Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

Day 4 Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

Sunrise at the Taj — The Most Romantic Morning in India

Wake before dawn for the experience that defines this entire honeymoon — a private sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal together. In the extraordinary first light of morning, with mist rising from the Yamuna River and the monument shifting from pale silver to brilliant luminous white as the sun climbs above the horizon — standing beside your partner at the Taj Mahal at sunrise is one of those rare moments that becomes permanently, completely part of who you are together.

Also visit the exquisite Itmad-Ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) before a full Oberoi breakfast and checkout. Begin the scenic drive to Jaipur with a wonderful stop at the perfectly preserved abandoned Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri and the spectacular Chand Baori step wells at Abhaneri.

Arrive in Jaipur in the evening and check into the legendary Rambagh Palace or The Oberoi Rajvilas — palace properties of extraordinary grandeur and romance, a honeymoon couple's welcome arranged in your suite. Stroll through the palace gardens together as the evening settles, and dine at the palace's finest restaurant — Jaipur's most romantic first night for a couple who deserve the very best.

Overnight stay at Rambagh Palace or Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur.

Day 5 Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing

The Pink City — Romance Written in Rose-Colored Stone

After an indulgent palace breakfast, your guide takes you on a full and deeply enjoyable day through Jaipur. The iconic Hawa Mahal for photographs, the magnificent Amber Fort — its Sheesh Mahal sparkling with a thousand mirror reflections — and the ethereal Jal Mahal appearing to float on Man Sagar Lake in a setting of painterly beauty.

The afternoon brings the magnificent City Palace — still partially home to the Jaipur royal family — and the extraordinary Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory before a leisurely walk through Jaipur's famous heritage markets — block-print fabrics, Kundan jewellery, blue pottery, and a thousand beautiful things to take home as honeymoon memories from the Pink City.

Return to your palace hotel for an evening of pure luxury — dinner at the hotel's finest restaurant, a couple's treatment at the world-class spa, and the particular joy of being in one of the most beautiful hotels in Asia in one of India's most romantic cities.

Overnight stay at Rambagh Palace or Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur.

Day 6 Jaipur to Udaipur

From the Pink City to the Most Romantic City in the World

After a leisurely palace breakfast and checkout, your premium vehicle departs for Udaipur — approximately 5 to 6 hours through the beautiful landscapes of southern Rajasthan. En route, stop at the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temples — the extraordinary 15th-century marble temple supported by 1,444 individually carved pillars, its interior one of the most beautiful architectural spaces in India and a perfect romantic interlude between two of Rajasthan's greatest cities.

Arrive in Udaipur in the early evening and check into The Oberoi Udaivilas — consistently voted the most romantic hotel in India and one of the finest in the world. Set in 50 acres of gardens, courtyards, and fountains on the shores of Lake Pichola, its lake-facing suites and private pool villas create the most romantic accommodation available anywhere in India. A special honeymoon suite setup will be waiting — flowers, candles, rose petals, and the most beautiful view in India outside your window.

Settle into this extraordinary place together — drinks on your private pool terrace as the palaces reflect in the darkening lake below, and dinner at The Oberoi Udaivilas's magnificent lakeside restaurant as your first romantic evening in Udaipur.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur.

Day 7 Full Day Udaipur — The Most Romantic Day of Your Honeymoon

Palaces, Lakes & the Sunset That Defines India

After a leisurely Oberoi breakfast on your private pool terrace — the lake and the palaces before you in the morning light — your guide takes you on a beautifully paced day through Udaipur.

The magnificent City Palace — its museums of extraordinary beauty, its terraces offering views over Lake Pichola that rank among the finest in Udaipur. The beautiful Jagdish Temple and the enchanting Saheliyon Ki Bari — its lotus pools, marble fountains, and flowering trees one of Udaipur's most peaceful and romantic settings. Built by a Maharana for the ladies of the royal court — Saheliyon Ki Bari retains a quality of intimate feminine beauty that makes it particularly special for two women visiting together, and particularly moving for any couple who pauses to appreciate the human story behind its creation.

The afternoon's centerpiece is your private sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola — the most romantic experience Udaipur offers and one of the finest romantic experiences in all of India. Your private boat glides silently across the still, mirror-like waters as the afternoon light softens and the sun begins its descent toward the Aravalli Hills. Past the legendary Taj Lake Palace — the all-white island palace appearing to float on the lake's surface — and to the beautiful Jag Mandir Island Palace for champagne or cocktails on the magnificent lakeside terrace, the entire panorama of Udaipur and its palaces spread across the water before you.

As the sun sets — turning the lake extraordinary shades of gold, copper, and deep crimson, the white palaces catching the last light above the darkening water — your boat returns across the lake as the illuminations of the City Palace and the Lake Palace begin to glow. This is one of those rare travel moments that is genuinely as beautiful as it sounds — and more beautiful than any photograph can capture.

This evening, a special private candlelit dinner has been arranged on the lakeside terrace of The Oberoi Udaivilas — the most beautiful dining setting in Udaipur, the illuminated Taj Lake Palace shimmering on the water before you, the night air warm and fragrant, and the stars of Rajasthan appearing above the Aravalli Hills. A dinner that perfectly, completely, and unforgettably ends the most romantic day of your honeymoon in India.

Overnight stay at The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur.

Day 8 Udaipur to Goa by Flight

From the City of Lakes to India's Rainbow Capital

After a final Oberoi Udaivilas breakfast — savored slowly on your private pool terrace as the lake glitters in the morning light — check out and transfer to Udaipur Airport for your flight to Goa — approximately 1.5 hours in the air.

Upon arrival at Goa Airport, your representative transfers you to your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming luxury boutique beach resort — ideally in North Goa's Vagator or Anjuna area. A special honeymoon welcome will be arranged in your room.

Check in, change into something comfortable, and step outside into the warm Goan afternoon. The sound of the sea. The smell of frangipani. The immediate, completely natural feeling of having arrived somewhere that wants you to be entirely and completely yourselves. Goa's welcome is the most natural in India — not because anyone has made a policy decision but because this is simply how Goa has always been.

Dinner this evening at a celebrated Goan beach restaurant — fresh seafood, cold wine, and the first warm Goa night of your honeymoon.

Overnight stay in Goa — Luxury Boutique Beach Resort.

Day 9 North Goa — Heritage, Beaches & the LGBTQ+ Heart of Goa

Old Goa, Fontainhas & the Most Beautiful Northern Beaches

After a relaxed breakfast, your guide takes you on an enjoyable morning of North Goa exploration. The magnificent Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral in Old Goa — UNESCO World Heritage churches of extraordinary Baroque grandeur. The charming Latin Quarter of Fontainhas in Panaji — narrow cobblestone lanes, pastel Portuguese houses, art galleries, and the most café culture in Goa.

The afternoon belongs entirely to the beach — Vagator's dramatic red laterite cliffs and LGBTQ+ friendly beach shacks for a couple that loves scenery with character. As the sun begins to set, the clifftops above Little Vagator Beach offer one of Goa's most spectacular sunset views — the Arabian Sea blazing below, the beach curving away beneath the cliffs in a setting of dramatic, completely beautiful natural grandeur.

Overnight stay in Goa — Luxury Boutique Beach Resort.

Day 10 South Goa & Private Beach Honeymoon Dinner

The Most Beautiful Beaches in India — Just for the Two of You

Today takes you to South Goa — quieter, more pristine, and for a honeymoon couple seeking privacy and the most unspoiled beaches in India, simply perfect. Drive south to Palolem Beach — a perfect crescent-shaped bay consistently ranked among the most beautiful beaches in Asia — and continue to Agonda — quieter still and consistently voted one of India's finest beaches for its pristine natural setting.

Spend the afternoon entirely at the beach — swimming in the warm Arabian Sea, reading in the shade of a coconut palm, or simply lying together watching the fishing boats move across the glittering water in complete, uncomplicated peace. There is no agenda here. There is only the beach, the sea, and each other.

This evening, your guide has arranged a special private romantic beach dinner — a table set directly on the sand or at a clifftop restaurant with unobstructed sea views, fresh Goan seafood, champagne, candlelight, and the stars appearing above the Arabian Sea as the evening settles around you. One of those honeymoon dinners that lives in memory permanently and completely.

Overnight stay in Goa — Luxury Boutique Beach Resort.

Day 11 Goa Leisure & Flight to Cochin

A Final Goa Morning — Then Kerala Awaits

After a leisurely final breakfast at your Goa resort, the morning is free — a last swim, a walk on the beach, or a browse through a favorite market. At the designated time, transfer to Goa Airport for the short flight to Cochin — approximately 1 hour.

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, transfer to your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming heritage boutique hotel in Fort Kochi — the charming colonial quarter of the city, its narrow lanes, Dutch and Portuguese architecture, art galleries, and waterfront cafes making it one of the most immediately beautiful and most welcoming arrival points in Kerala.

Check in and spend the evening exploring Fort Kochi's atmospheric waterfront — the Chinese fishing nets silhouetted against the evening sky, a waterfront dinner of fresh Kerala seafood in a candlelit colonial courtyard, and the particular warm, unhurried quality of a Fort Kochi evening that feels genuinely different from anything that has come before on this honeymoon.

Overnight stay in Cochin — Fort Kochi Heritage Boutique Hotel.

Day 12 Full Day Cochin

Colonial Heritage, Contemporary Art & Kerala's Most Romantic City

After breakfast, your guide takes you on a full and enjoyable day through Cochin. The Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church, the magnificently painted Mattancherry Palace, and the beautiful Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town — a morning of considerable historical richness and colonial beauty.

The afternoon is devoted to Fort Kochi's extraordinary contemporary art scene — its galleries, housed in beautifully restored colonial buildings, displaying work of genuine international quality that consistently surprises and delights culturally curious travelers. A leisurely walk through the art galleries of Fort Kochi — stopping in the cafes and boutiques between galleries — is one of the most enjoyable and most characteristically romantic couple's activities that Cochin offers.

This evening, attend a Kathakali dance performance — the extraordinary classical dance form of Kerala, its elaborate costumes and physical storytelling one of the most memorable cultural experiences in South India — before a candlelit dinner at one of Fort Kochi's finest waterfront restaurants.

Overnight stay in Cochin — Fort Kochi Heritage Boutique Hotel.

Day 13 Cochin to Alleppey & Private Luxury Houseboat

The Most Romantic Night of Your Entire Honeymoon

After breakfast and checkout, your private vehicle departs for Alleppey — approximately 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, board your private luxury houseboat — the most intimate and most romantically extraordinary accommodation of your entire 16-day honeymoon.

Your houseboat is beautifully appointed — a comfortable double bedroom with fine linen, an open sit-out deck, a well-equipped kitchen with your own personal cook, and everything required for a night of complete comfort and romance on the most beautiful waterways in Asia. This boat is entirely yours — no other guests, no shared spaces, just the two of you and the extraordinary Kerala backwater landscape unfolding around you.

The houseboat glides silently through the network of lakes, lagoons, and canals that make up the Kerala backwater system — past paddy fields and coconut groves, through narrow village canals where the ordinary beauty of backwater life continues undisturbed around you, and across the vast, mirror-still expanse of Vembanad Lake. Lunch is prepared fresh on board — Kerala fish curry, appam, and freshly caught backwater fish in spiced coconut gravy eaten together on the shaded deck as the backwater world drifts slowly past.

The afternoon unfolds at the most beautifully unhurried pace imaginable — tea as the light softens toward evening, the two of you on the deck watching the sun set over the backwaters in extraordinary shades of gold and orange. A special candlelit honeymoon dinner is arranged on the houseboat deck as the boat moors for the night in a quiet canal — rose petals, candles, champagne, and the most extraordinary dinner setting of your entire honeymoon. The stars of Kerala appear above the coconut palms, the sound of water and night birds the only sounds in the warm, fragrant Kerala darkness.

This night — just the two of you, on your private houseboat, on the most beautiful waterways in India, under the most extraordinary sky — is the kind of honeymoon experience that cannot be planned, only treasured. And it is entirely, completely yours.

Overnight stay on Private Luxury Houseboat — Kerala Backwaters.

Day 14 Backwaters to Kovalam

Morning on the Water — Then the Arabian Sea

After a beautiful backwater breakfast on board — watching the morning mist lift from the water as the coconut palms on the bank catch the first light — disembark and transfer to Kovalam — approximately 3 to 4 hours along the Kerala coast to the southernmost tip of the state.

Check into your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming luxury beach resort in Kovalam — a special honeymoon room setup will be waiting. Spend the afternoon on Lighthouse Beach — swimming in the warm Arabian Sea, walking hand in hand on the sand, or simply sitting on your hotel terrace watching the fishing boats move across the glittering water as the Arabian Sea afternoon settles into evening.

Dinner this evening at your resort or at a celebrated Kovalam seafood restaurant — fresh Kerala lobster, tiger prawns, and the extraordinary spiced coconut curries that make Kerala's cuisine one of the finest in all of India.

Overnight stay in Kovalam — Luxury Beach Resort.

Day 15 Kovalam — Ayurveda, Beach & the Perfect Final Day

Wellness, Waves & the Arabian Sea at Sunset

The penultimate day of your honeymoon — and it has been planned as a day of pure relaxation, wellness, and the particular pleasure of being somewhere genuinely beautiful together with nothing that needs to be done and nowhere that needs to be reached.

Begin the morning with a couples Ayurvedic treatment at your resort's wellness center or at one of Kovalam's finest Ayurvedic clinics. The classic Abhyanga full body warm oil massage performed simultaneously — the most deeply relaxing and most genuinely therapeutic couple's experience that Kerala offers, drawing on a tradition of Ayurvedic medicine more than 3,000 years old.

After your treatment, the day is entirely free — swimming, reading, lying in the shade of a coconut palm, exploring the Kovalam beachfront at your own pace, or simply doing absolutely nothing in the most enjoyable possible way. In the late afternoon, as the sun begins its descent toward the Arabian Sea, find a perfect spot on the beach or at a clifftop restaurant for one of Kovalam's extraordinary sunset dinners — the sky turning every shade of orange, gold, and deep crimson above the water, the fishing boats silhouetted against the colors, and the warm Arabian Sea lapping at the shore below.

A final quiet, romantic evening in Kerala — the last night of your honeymoon in India.

Overnight stay in Kovalam — Luxury Beach Resort.

Day 16 Kovalam to Trivandrum & Departure

Farewell from India — The Honeymoon Ends Here. Everything Else Begins.

There is no easy way to leave — and there should not be. Take your time this morning. Have breakfast slowly and beautifully on your resort terrace, watching the morning light move across the Arabian Sea in the extraordinary clarity of a Kerala morning. Walk to the beach for a final few minutes together before the day begins to carry you forward.

At the designated time, your private vehicle transfers you to Trivandrum International Airport — approximately 30 minutes from Kovalam — for your onward international flight.

You leave India as a couple who have stood together before the Taj Mahal at sunrise, floated together on the sacred Ganges at dawn, watched the sun set over Lake Pichola from a private boat on the most romantic lake in India, walked hand in hand on the most beautiful beaches in South India, and spent a night on a private houseboat on the Kerala backwaters under a sky so full of stars that it seemed almost imagined. You have experienced India at its most magnificent, its most personal, and its most genuinely welcoming.

India gave you all of this. And every single moment of it is yours — to keep, to remember, to return to in conversation for the rest of your lives together.

The honeymoon ends here. Everything else — the whole long, beautiful life ahead of you — begins now.

Tour ends. Travel proud. Travel together. Come back to India — bring your children someday. Show them the Taj Mahal. Tell them the story.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual.   We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
