Delhi - Jaipur - Udaipur

Trip Overview

Some journeys are trips. Some journeys are adventures. And some journeys are the beginning of a life together - moments so beautiful, so carefully crafted, and so deeply felt that they become the story you tell for the rest of your lives. This 6 Nights / 7 Days Gay Honeymoon Rajasthan Palace Tour is designed to be exactly that kind of journey.

Rajasthan has always been India's most romantic destination - a land of white marble palaces rising from sapphire lakes, of rose-pink cities glowing at sunset, of candlelit rooftop dinners under skies full of stars, of heritage hotels where every room tells a story of royal love, royal beauty, and royal magnificence. For same-sex couples celebrating a honeymoon, an anniversary, an engagement, or simply a love that deserves to be celebrated in the most extraordinary setting possible - Rajasthan offers something that no other destination on earth can quite replicate.

This tour takes you to the three most romantic destinations in all of India - Delhi, where Mughal emperors built monuments to love that have endured for four centuries. Jaipur - the Pink City, where palace hotels and rooftop restaurants and the extraordinary warmth of Rajasthani hospitality combine to create an atmosphere of romance that is both grand and deeply intimate. And Udaipur - the City of Lakes, the Venice of the East, a destination so beautiful and so consistently romantic that it has been chosen by countless gay and lesbian couples as the most perfect honeymoon destination in the entire country and one of the finest in all of Asia.

Every detail of this tour - from your room selection to your candlelit dinner arrangements to the timing of your boat ride on Lake Pichola at sunset - is handled with the care, the sensitivity, and the genuine personal investment that a honeymoon deserves. This is not a standard tour with an LGBTQ+ label attached. This is a honeymoon - planned for two people who are in love, who deserve the very best, and who have chosen India as the place to begin their life together.

Welcome. And congratulations.

Gay Honeymoon Rajasthan Palace Tour :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Delhi

Welcome to India - Your Honeymoon Begins

This is the first day of your honeymoon in India - and it begins the moment you land. At Indira Gandhi International Airport, your personal representative will be waiting with a name board to escort you both to your private air-conditioned vehicle. You will be transferred smoothly and comfortably to your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming hotel in Delhi.

The rest of the day is entirely yours - rest from your journey, freshen up, and begin to absorb the extraordinary energy of one of the world's great cities. If you arrive early and feel like exploring, ask your driver for an informal evening drive past the illuminated India Gate - one of Delhi's most romantic evening settings - and through the elegant avenues of Lutyens' Delhi. Your guide will meet you briefly this evening to introduce himself and ensure you are comfortable and happy before your first full day begins.

A special welcome amenity will be arranged in your room - a small gesture to mark the beginning of this extraordinary journey together.

Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 Delhi Sightseeing

Mughal Monuments & the City That Has Always Celebrated Love

After a leisurely honeymoon breakfast at your hotel, your private English-speaking guide takes you on an enjoyable and unhurried exploration of Delhi - focusing on the city's most beautiful and historically significant monuments, with plenty of time to simply be together and absorb the extraordinary atmosphere of a city built by emperors.

Begin in Old Delhi with a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk - one of the most exhilarating and romantically chaotic experiences in all of India, the two of you navigating the ancient market lanes together in the most enjoyable possible way. Visit the magnificent Jama Masjid and pay your respects at the peaceful Raj Ghat before moving into New Delhi for visits to the soaring Qutub Minar and the sublimely beautiful Humayun's Tomb - the garden mausoleum built by the Mughal Empress Haji Begum in memory of her husband Emperor Humayun, a monument of extraordinary beauty and a reminder that this is a city where love has always been considered worth building something magnificent to honor.

Drive past India Gate and through the grand ceremonial boulevards of Lutyens' Delhi before returning to your hotel for a relaxed afternoon.

This evening, your guide can arrange a special romantic dinner at one of Delhi's finest restaurants - a proper honeymoon first evening in India, with great food, great wine, and the beginning of a journey that will give you stories to tell for a lifetime.

Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3 Delhi to Jaipur

The Pink City - Where Romance Lives in the Walls

After a leisurely breakfast and hotel checkout, your private vehicle departs for Jaipur - approximately 5 hours through the landscapes of Rajasthan. This is a journey that begins to feel like Rajasthan even before you arrive - the light changing, the landscape opening up, the first glimpses of ancient forts and cenotaphs beside the road telling you that you are entering a world of particular beauty and romance.

Arrive in Jaipur in the early afternoon and check into your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming palace heritage hotel - one of the Pink City's finest, where your room or suite reflects the best traditions of Rajput royal hospitality, with hand-painted frescoes, inlaid mirror work, carved sandstone screens, and views over the beautiful hotel gardens or the old city rooftops. A special honeymoon room setup will be arranged - flowers, candles, and a personal welcome from the hotel.

The afternoon is entirely free - explore the hotel's beautiful spaces together, take a dip in the pool, or simply sit on your private terrace with a cold drink and the particular pleasure of being exactly where you want to be, with exactly the right person.

This evening, dine at one of Jaipur's celebrated rooftop restaurants - your guide can arrange a special romantic table with views over the glowing pink rooftops and the illuminated Nahargarh Fort above the city. Jaipur by night, from a rooftop, is one of the most beautiful sights in India.

Overnight stay in Jaipur - Palace Heritage Hotel.

Day 4 Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing

Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal & the Magic of the Pink City

After a beautiful palace breakfast at your hotel, your private guide takes you both on a full and deeply enjoyable day of sightseeing through Jaipur - a city that seems to have been designed specifically to make people fall more deeply in love with wherever they are and whoever they are with.

Begin with the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for photographs - its extraordinary facade of 953 latticed windows one of the most beautiful and instantly recognizable images in all of India. Drive to the magnificent Amber Fort - a hilltop palace of breathtaking Rajput grandeur, its Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) so spectacular that it has been a favorite spot for romantic photographs for as long as cameras have existed in India. The views from the fort's highest terraces over the surrounding hills, lakes, and the city below are genuinely breathtaking - particularly beautiful in the morning light.

Pause at the ethereal Jal Mahal (Water Palace) for photographs - this hauntingly beautiful palace appearing to float on the surface of Man Sagar Lake creates one of Rajasthan's most romantic and painterly images. The afternoon brings visits to the magnificent City Palace - where the Maharaja of Jaipur still resides - and the extraordinary Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory before a leisurely walk through Jaipur's famous heritage markets - where you might find a piece of Kundan jewellery, a block-printed silk scarf, or a small blue pottery piece to take home as a honeymoon keepsake from the Pink City.

Overnight stay in Jaipur - Palace Heritage Hotel.

Day 5 Jaipur to Udaipur

From the Pink City to the Most Romantic City in the World

After breakfast and hotel checkout, your private vehicle departs for Udaipur - approximately 5 to 6 hours through the beautiful landscapes of southern Rajasthan, the Aravalli Hills rising and falling on either side of the road as you move deeper into the most romantic corner of India.

En route, stop at the beautiful Chittorgarh Fort - the largest fort in India and one of Rajasthan's most historically significant and architecturally magnificent sites, its towers, temples, and palaces spread across a massive hilltop plateau above the plains of Mewar. Chittorgarh is deeply associated with stories of Rajput love, loyalty, and sacrifice - including the legendary Rani Padmini, whose beauty and courage have inspired poets and storytellers for seven centuries.

Arrive in Udaipur in the late afternoon and check into your pre-selected LGBTQ+ welcoming lake-facing heritage hotel - ideally positioned for views of Lake Pichola, the City Palace, and the legendary Taj Lake Palace floating on the water below. A special honeymoon room setup will be waiting for you - flowers, a welcome note, and the most beautiful view in India outside your window.

Take the evening slowly - a walk along the lake shore together as the sun sets over the Aravalli Hills, a quiet drink on your hotel terrace as the palaces reflect in the darkening water below, and a romantic dinner at one of Udaipur's most celebrated lakeside restaurants - Ambrai, perhaps, with its unobstructed view of the City Palace and the Lake Palace shimmering in the evening light across the water.

Overnight stay in Udaipur - Lake-Facing Heritage Hotel.

Day 6 Full Day Udaipur - The Honeymoon City

Lakes, Palaces & the Most Romantic Day of Your Journey

Today belongs entirely to Udaipur - and it has been planned as the most romantic day of your entire honeymoon in India.

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel - perhaps on your private lake-view terrace as the morning light moves across the water - your guide takes you on a beautifully paced exploration of this extraordinary city.

Begin with the magnificent City Palace - the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, its white marble and granite walls rising directly from the eastern shore of Lake Pichola. The City Palace Museum houses an extraordinary collection of royal paintings, crystal, glass mosaics, Chinese porcelain, and Rajput artefacts that tells the story of the Mewar dynasty - one of the oldest royal families in India - with genuine depth, beauty, and fascination. The palace's terraces and balconies offer views over Lake Pichola that are among the finest in Udaipur.

Visit the beautiful Jagdish Temple - Udaipur's most important and most architecturally splendid temple, its carved exterior and genuinely active daily worship making it one of the most authentic and accessible temple experiences in Rajasthan. Continue to the enchanting Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens) - an 18th-century royal garden of lotus pools, marble fountains, and flowering trees that is one of Udaipur's most peaceful, most beautiful, and most genuinely romantic spots.

The undisputed highlight of the day - and perhaps of the entire honeymoon - is your private sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola. As the afternoon sun begins its descent toward the Aravalli Hills, your private boat glides silently across the mirror-still waters of the lake - past the legendary Taj Lake Palace, the extraordinary all-white island palace that appears to float on the surface of the water, accessible only by boat, and consistently ranked among the most romantic hotels in the entire world. Continue to the beautiful Jag Mandir Island Palace - where you can disembark for tea or a drink on the magnificent lakeside terrace, the entire panorama of Udaipur and its palaces spread before you across the water.

As the sun sets over the Aravalli Hills and the sky turns extraordinary shades of orange, gold, and deep crimson, your boat returns across the lake as the City Palace and the Lake Palace begin to glow with their evening illumination - one of the most beautiful sights in all of India, and one of the most genuinely romantic moments available to any traveler anywhere in the world.

This evening, your guide will have arranged a special private candlelit dinner for you both - at a lakeside restaurant with unobstructed views of the illuminated palaces across the water, or at your hotel's finest dining setting, with special arrangements made in advance to ensure that this last evening in Udaipur is everything a honeymoon dinner in India should be.

After dinner, perhaps a final walk along the lake shore - the water dark and still, the palaces glowing white above it, the stars of Rajasthan overhead - before returning to your hotel for your last night in the most romantic city in India.

Overnight stay in Udaipur - Lake-Facing Heritage Hotel.

Day 7 Udaipur Departure

Farewell from the City of Lakes - Your Honeymoon in India Ends Here

There is no easy way to leave Udaipur - and there should not be. Take your time this morning. Have breakfast slowly and beautifully, ideally on your lake-view terrace one final time. Watch the morning light move across the water and the palaces above it in the extraordinary clarity of a Rajasthan morning. Walk to the lake shore for a final few minutes together before the day begins to move.

If time permits before your departure transfer, visit the miniature painting studio that your guide has identified - Udaipur is one of the finest centers of traditional Rajasthani miniature painting in India, and commissioning or purchasing a small original painting - perhaps a lake palace scene, or a romantic Rajput couple in the traditional style - makes one of the most beautiful, personal, and enduring honeymoon souvenirs available anywhere in Rajasthan.

At the designated time, your private vehicle transfers you to Udaipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. You leave India as a couple who have walked together through Mughal gardens, stood together before a fort that has seen six centuries of love and war and human life, watched the sun set together over a lake full of palace reflections, and dined together by candlelight in one of the world's most beautiful cities.

India gave you all of this. And it is yours to keep - every moment, every image, every feeling - for the rest of your lives together.

Tour ends. Travel proud. Travel together. Come back to India - bring your children someday.

because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence.   We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
