Essence of India with Varanasi, Private Car & Flights Included :- Detail Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Udaipur

Upon arrival at Udaipur Airport, guests are welcomed by the representative of Top Indian Holidays and transferred to their luxury hotel overlooking the lakes and palaces that define the city’s romantic atmosphere. Udaipur, often called the City of Lakes, remains one of India’s most elegant royal destinations where marble palaces, peaceful waters and Aravalli hills create extraordinary scenery.

After check-in, the remainder of the afternoon is reserved for relaxation and acclimatization. Guests may enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel, unwind beside the lake or simply absorb the timeless charm that makes Udaipur a favorite among luxury travelers worldwide. Unlike Rajasthan’s larger desert cities, Udaipur carries a softer and more graceful character.

In the evening, proceed for a private boat ride on Lake Pichola. Passing the famous Lake Palace and Jag Mandir while sunset colors reflect upon the water creates one of the most memorable experiences in Rajasthan. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 2 Udaipur Royal Heritage

After breakfast, begin a guided exploration of Udaipur’s royal landmarks. Visit the magnificent City Palace complex overlooking Lake Pichola where royal courtyards, mirror-work chambers, balconies and ceremonial halls preserve centuries of Mewar dynasty history. The architecture combines Rajput artistry with Mughal influences while offering panoramic lake views from elevated palace terraces.

Continue toward Jagdish Temple, one of the city’s most important Hindu temples known for its intricate stone carvings and spiritual atmosphere. Nearby, wander through sections of the old city where traditional miniature painters, silver craftsmen and textile artisans continue long-standing artistic traditions passed through generations.

Later in the afternoon, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, the historic royal garden built for princesses and noblewomen. Marble fountains, lotus pools and shaded pathways provide a peaceful contrast to the grandeur of the palaces. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 3 Udaipur to Jodhpur

This morning, depart by private luxury vehicle toward Jodhpur through Rajasthan’s changing landscapes. Along the route, guests witness rural villages, marble workshops and desert scenery that gradually reveal the rugged atmosphere of western Rajasthan. The journey also offers insight into traditional village life beyond India’s larger tourist cities.

Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into your luxury heritage hotel before beginning evening exploration. Dominated by the mighty Mehrangarh Fort, the city is famous for its blue-painted houses and strong warrior heritage connected to the Rathore dynasty. The imposing fort rising above the old city creates one of Rajasthan’s most dramatic urban landscapes.

The evening may include a heritage walk through selected old city lanes followed by dinner featuring traditional Marwari cuisine. Rich spices, royal cooking styles and desert-inspired dishes form an important part of Rajasthan’s culinary identity. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 4 Jodhpur Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to Mehrangarh Fort, regarded as one of India’s grandest and best-preserved forts. Massive gateways lead into royal palaces decorated with stained glass, carved sandstone balconies and ornate courtyards. Museum galleries inside display royal weapons, palanquins, costumes and artifacts connected to Rajasthan’s royal history.

Continue to Jaswant Thada, an elegant white marble memorial built beside a peaceful lake. The site offers beautiful views toward Mehrangarh Fort while its quiet gardens create a calm atmosphere away from the bustling city. Later, explore local markets near the clock tower where spices, textiles and handcrafted goods reflect the vibrant trading traditions of Jodhpur.

In the evening, guests may relax at the hotel or enjoy rooftop dining overlooking the illuminated fort. The atmosphere of Jodhpur after sunset, with glowing fort walls rising above blue houses, creates an unforgettable visual experience. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 5 Jodhpur to Delhi

Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, proceed to your luxury hotel before beginning a guided introduction to India’s capital city. Delhi presents a remarkable blend of Mughal history, colonial architecture and modern urban energy unlike anywhere else in the country.

Visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site considered the architectural inspiration behind the Taj Mahal. Continue with a panoramic drive through New Delhi passing India Gate, Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan where wide ceremonial avenues reflect the grandeur of British-era city planning.

The evening remains free for leisure or fine dining. Guests may explore luxury boutiques, artisan galleries or modern restaurants offering contemporary Indian cuisine. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 6 Old Delhi & Flight to Varanasi

This morning begins with exploration of Old Delhi where narrow lanes, Mughal monuments and centuries-old markets preserve the atmosphere of imperial India. Visit Jama Masjid followed by a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk where spice markets, local traders and historic streets create one of Delhi’s most energetic experiences.

Later, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, proceed to your luxury hotel situated near the sacred riverfront. Varanasi remains one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and is considered the spiritual heart of Hinduism. The city’s atmosphere differs completely from Rajasthan and Delhi, offering a deeply spiritual and emotional experience.

In the evening, witness the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony performed along the ghats of the River Ganges. Priests carrying oil lamps, devotional chanting and the sight of hundreds of flickering lights reflected upon the river create one of India’s most powerful spiritual spectacles. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 7 Varanasi Spiritual Experiences

Before sunrise, enjoy an early morning boat ride on the River Ganges. As the city slowly awakens, pilgrims gather along the ghats for prayers, rituals and sacred bathing ceremonies that have continued uninterrupted for centuries. The atmosphere during sunrise is peaceful, spiritual and deeply moving for many travelers.

Later, visit important temples and sacred areas around Varanasi while your guide explains the city’s religious significance within Hindu philosophy. Walk through ancient alleyways filled with incense shops, flower vendors and temple bells where every corner reflects spiritual devotion and traditional daily life.

The afternoon remains free for relaxation or optional cultural activities including silk weaving demonstrations and local culinary experiences. Varanasi’s layered atmosphere offers far more than sightseeing alone, often leaving a lasting emotional impression on visitors. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 8 Departure from Varanasi

After breakfast, transfer to Varanasi Airport for your onward flight and international departure arrangements. Assistance will be provided throughout the departure process to ensure a smooth conclusion to your luxury India journey.

During the tour, guests have experienced Rajasthan’s royal heritage, Delhi’s historical grandeur and the spiritual depth of Varanasi while traveling comfortably with private transportation and premium hospitality.   because my time with him in India was the most organized and exciting two weeks of my existence. I spent two weeks touring Southern India with a class of 16 American students and one professor who had never been to India, but thanks to Nand, the trip was seamless. He took us to incredible locations and called upon his personal connections to create opportunities for us and ensure that we were involved and informed. The entire time we were there, Nand made India feel like home. Somehow, he found a way for us to experience a range of incredible, new experiences in a completly unfamiliar place, while always ensuring our safety, comfort, and awareness. There is nothing Nand will not do to make your trip incredible. I cannot reccommend him enough.  ...Read More

My wife had a wonderful 28 day trip around the main sights in Rajasthan, The Golden Triangle and onwards to Varanasi. Nand organised the hotels to our budget, the driver and guides all of which were very good. Without his expertise this trip would not have been possible so a big "thank you"!  ...Read More

Our trip with Top Indian Holidays was fantastic. Our family of five, including 3 small kids, visited the Golden Triangle of India. It was a wonderful cultural experience. I cannot recommend them enough. The hotel accommodations were great (we stayed at the trident hotels). The food was delicious. Everyone we met in India was so friendly and kind. We always felt safe. Our tour guide Nand was super nice and informative. Our kids’ favorite stop was the Monkey Temple :) The rickshaw ride through Delhi was exciting and fun.  ...Read More

I’ve made such wonderful memories here in India. For a week, I had the chance to work on my sister’s women’s healthcare project in the village of Chandelao, and then spent a weekend in Jaipur. The accommodations have been top notch, and both our guides- Kartika and Nand Singh- have become our good friends. Top Indian Holidays is a tour company dedicated to exceptional service. Despite traveling alone with my sister, we felt so safe and at home. I truly have fallen in love with I did!  ...Read More

Last year, I travelled throughout northern India for one month as part of a course at Saint Mary’s College. We had such incredible adventures, thanks to our in country guide and friend Nand Singh Rathore. I was so impressed by his company’s commitment to excellent hospitality that I planned another visit this March. The main purpose of my trip was to work on a women’s healthcare project in Chandelao. Top Indian Holidays was so helpful in organizing transportation and accommodations. Our guide, Kartika, and our driver, Bhim, made sure we were well taken care of. My project would not have gone smoothly if it weren’t for them- and I am so proud to call them my new friends! My sister and I stayed an extra weekend in Jaipur, and Nand Singh was amazing as usual. He is so, so good to us!!! If you visit India through Top Indian Holidays, I assure you that you will have a safe, adventurous, and unforgettable experience!  ...Read More

Top Indian Holidays is THE BEST! We came to India for the Jain Festival in south India at Shravanabelagola (which happens only once every 12 years) and continued on to the Golden Temple in Amritsar and to sit for teachings with His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Top Indian Holidays handled all of the arrangements expertly, providing first rate service, excellent accommodations, transport, and first rate local guides! We've travelled through many, many countries with numerous very good travel agencies but none have provided the excellent service that Top Indian Holidays provided. They are committed to excellence.   We had an absolutely incredible experience touring India with Top Indian Holidays, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Our journey took us through Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur, and every part of the trip was seamlessly organised from start to finish. The itinerary struck the perfect balance between sightseeing, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. Seeing the Taj Mahal in Agra was, of course, a highlight, but the real standout moment was Ranthambore—where we were lucky enough to see tigers in the wild, something we’ll never forget. What really made the trip exceptional, though, was having the same driver with us throughout the entire journey.  ...Read More

On the advice of a friend we contacted Nand Singh Rathore at Top Indian Holidays in Jaipur. Nand worked with us and suggested a suitable tour over 5 days. We flew from Goa to Delhi and were met by our driver Ram Singh, whom stayed with us for the duration of the tour. Day 2 we visited the Taj Mahal with a very well informed local guide and spent 3 hours enjoying this special place. We then headed for Jaipur ( a 6 hour drive from Agra) stopping on the way at Chand Baori ( The Abhaneri Step Well). Day 3 in Jaipur we visited the Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. We were also due to visit the Jantar Mantar but because of heavy rain and thunderstorms we missed this out. Day 4 we were picked up at our hotel for the 7 hour drive to Udaipur , stopping for lunch and comfort breaks on the way.  ...Read More
