Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai and Bengaluru hold real stock. For a route that starts in a smaller city we position the vehicle from the nearest hub, and that positioning cost sits inside the quote rather than appearing later.
On a two hour transfer, no. On a fourteen day Rajasthan route with five hour drives most days, the reclining seats and the quieter cabin change how you arrive at each city. Guests who upgrade for a long itinerary rarely go back.
The Vellfire is the more comfortable place to sit. Its captain seats recline like an aircraft business seat and it rides softer on Indian surfaces. The V-Class feels more familiar to European guests, has a squarer boot and looks more discreet at a hotel entrance. Neither is a mistake.
Six passengers plus the driver, with four to five large suitcases, is the honest figure for a Vellfire, an Alphard or a V-Class. A Granace or a Commuter takes nine plus the driver. If you are seven adults with a suitcase each, tell us and we will quote a Granace rather than squeeze you into a Vellfire.
An MPV is built around the cabin rather than the chassis. The floor is flat, the middle row seats recline and slide, the doors slide open rather than swing, and there is boot space left once seven people are inside. An SUV of the same price carries fewer bags and asks older passengers to climb in.
