Two groups ask us for this category. Corporate and MICE clients who have carbon reporting written into their vendor policies, and leisure guests from the UK and Europe for whom the carbon footprint of a trip is a real consideration rather than a preference. Both deserve a straight answer about what an electric car (EV) can and cannot do on Indian roads today.
Here is that answer. Electric cars work very well in cities. Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune have enough charging infrastructure, and a car that returns to a known charger every night is completely dependable. Airport transfers and city tours are ideal, and the quiet cabin is a genuine improvement in traffic.
Electric does not work well on long inter-city routes yet. Charging along the Delhi–Agra–Jaipur highway is thin and unevenly maintained, and an hour lost to a queue at a charger can cost you a monument entry slot. For those routes we quote a hybrid car instead: a large cut in fuel use, no charging risk, and vehicles we hold in real numbers. Overselling an EV and stranding a guest costs far more than the booking is worth, so we do not do it.

For multi city touring, almost always. A hybrid Vellfire or Innova Hycross gives you a large cut in fuel use with no charging risk at all, and both are vehicles we hold in numbers. We reserve full electric for city based itineraries.
Yes. We can supply the vehicle type, fuel or energy basis and the distance travelled for each leg, which is what most vendor policies and carbon accounting tools ask for. Tell us the format your procurement team needs before the trip rather than after it.
Manufacturer figures are measured in laboratory conditions. In Indian traffic with the air conditioning running through a May afternoon, plan on roughly seventy to seventy five per cent of the claimed number. We quote routes on that basis rather than the brochure figure.
City days and airport transfers in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune, where the car returns to a known charger every night. On that pattern an EV is quiet, clean and completely dependable.
We do not recommend it. Public charging along those highways is still thin and unevenly maintained, and a car waiting an hour for a charger costs you a monument slot. For the Golden Triangle we quote a hybrid, which needs no charging and still cuts fuel use substantially.
Why Book With Us
