Both deserve a straight answer about what an electric car can and cannot do on Indian roads today.
Here is that answer. Electric works very well in cities. Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune have enough charging infrastructure, and a car that returns to a known charger every night is completely dependable. Airport transfers and city days are ideal, and the quiet cabin is a genuine improvement in traffic.
Electric does not work well on long inter city routes yet. Charging along the Delhi to Agra to Jaipur highways is thin and unevenly maintained, and an hour lost to a queue at a charger can cost you a monument entry slot. For those routes we quote a hybrid instead: a large cut in fuel use, no charging risk, and vehicles we hold in real numbers. Overselling an EV and stranding a guest costs far more than the booking is worth, so we do not do it.
