Lakshman Temple

This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and it took 20 years to build and was completed in about AD 954 during the reign of Dhanga as per the information available inscription provided by ASI outside the temple. It is considered as the best preserved amongst the Khajuraho group of temples. The images and carved structures represent the scenes of gymnastic orgy represents quit a scene, narrated in a sequence.

Kandariya Mahadev

This temple was built in between 1025 and 1050, and the image of Lord Shiva placed in Garbh Griha which is 30.5 m long along with 872 number of statues makes it the largest temple amongst the group of Khajuraho Temples. the main theme of this temple is dedicated to female beauty and sexual acrobatics. Its mountain-like rooftop built represents a reminiscent scene of the Himalayan abode of the gods.

Vishwa Nath Temple

Vishwa Nath temple is another example of marvellous Chandelian architecture which was built in 1002. This temple and its architecture is dedicated lord Ganesha and his seven mothers. Pictorial representation depicts cuddling of babies, musicians playing with different instruments and surasundari writing letters.

Parshav Nath Temple

Exceptional scriptural beauty with processional delicacy in carving images of Adinath, Parshav Nath Temple was created a century ago. The statue of Parshavanath is made out of jet black stone which gives an alluring shine ad attraction. Vamana Temple

This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu of which Vamana is the incarnation who replicated in the form of a dwarf. It has mesmerizing pictures and cravings of elephants which are designed as coming out of the wall. Also it has few erotic scenes. It main hall which is located in the center place is more like of those temples which made up in medieval time.

Chausath Yogini

The temple’s name means 64 – it once had 64 cells for the yoginis (female attendants) of Kali, while the 65th sheltered the goddess herself. It’s reputedly India’s oldest yogini temple.Temple of Chausath Yogini, beyond Shiv Sagar, probably the oldest at Khajuraho dates back 6th century. Hence it is not standing at its full vigour, only ruins are left apart. Granite is the stone from which it is constructed and the most peculiar thing about this temple is that it is not aligned from east to west.

Bijamandala Temple

This is the excavated mound of an 11th-century temple, dedicated to Shiva (judging by the white marble lingam at the apex of the mound). Although there are some exquisitely carved figures, unfinished carvings were also excavated, suggesting that what would have been Khajuraho’s largest temple was abandoned as resources flagged.
