Akshardham

With the blessings of Pramukh Swami Maharaj of the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) the splendid Swami Narayan was built by the dedicated efforts of 11,000 perfected artisans. Humyaun Tomb

The very substantial example of Mughal Architecture, Humayun Tomb was built in 1565 A.D. It was built 9 years after the death of Humayun who was father of Akbar the great. With the help of Delhi Development Authority it is maintaining very beautiful garden which is idle for a memorable evening.

Qutub Minar

73 m-high Qutub Minar was constructed in 1193 by Qutub-ud-din-Aibak who built this in the memory of destroying the last Hindu empire from Delhi. This building has 5 stories and a beautifully carved exterior which reflects the details to minute architectural design. It is surrounded by 27 pillars which mostly belong to Hindu temples which were demolished for construction of the mosque.

Purana Quila

The Purana Quila is located in Indraprastha area of Delhi. The outside area is surrounded by thick ramparts crowned by merlons located on the three gateways provided with bastions on either side. It was surrounded by a wide moat and connected to Yamuna River, which flow on the eastward side of the fort. Talaqui Darwaza or the forbidden gateway is located in the northern side of the fort, combines the typically Islamic pointed arch in association with Hindu Chhatris and brackets; whereas the southern gateway called the Humayun Darwaza is designed in the similar way.

India Gate

The 42 meter high India gate is located in the heart of the city. This monument is dedicate to those 70,000 brave soldiers who lost their lives during the fight against British Army during World War I. It bears the name of 13,516 names of those soldiers who fought till their last breath to restore the pride of the country Amar Jawan Jyoti is another proud memorial which is built in its premises which is also decided to Indian soldiers after India got independence.
