Group transport is decided by two numbers: how many people are travelling, and how many suitcases they are carrying. Get the first right and the second wrong and you spend a fortnight with bags stacked on the back row. The practical break point is around fourteen passengers. Below it, a Tempo Traveller or Urbania is easier to park in old city lanes and quicker through traffic. Above it, you want a coach: a bus chassis, a luggage hold underneath, air suspension on the better ones, and a ride that stops being tiring after four hours.

Hiring a Coach in India
What is the difference between a tempo traveller and a mini coach?
A tempo traveller is a twelve seat van on a light chassis, so it is nimble in old city lanes but firmer over long distances. A mini coach sits on a bus chassis with a luggage hold underneath, air suspension on the better ones, and a smoother ride once you are past nineteen passengers. If your group is fourteen or more, the coach is the right call.
How much luggage fits under a coach?
A 35 or 45 seater takes one large suitcase per passenger in the side holds without difficulty. Tempo travellers carry bags inside on the last row or the aisle, which is why we ask for your case count before quoting one for a long route.
Do your coaches have a washroom on board?
Some 45 seater Volvo coaches and the sleeper coaches do, and most day coaches do not. On Indian routes drivers stop every two to three hours at highway plazas, which is how groups usually travel. If an onboard washroom matters, say so and we will hold a coach that has one.
Are sleeper coaches suitable for overnight routes?
They work well on Delhi to Manali, Jaipur to Jaisalmer and similar long night runs, and they save a hotel night. They are not a comfortable substitute for a train or a flight on very long routes, and mountain roads make sleep patchy. We will be honest about which nights suit them.
Can one coach cover a full multi city tour?
Yes, and it is how most group tours run. The same coach and crew stay with you for the whole route, which keeps luggage handling simple and means the driver learns the group's rhythm. Interstate permits for every state on the route are inside the quote.
