Original name of the fortress – There are several theories associated with the construction of Red Fort. The most important one states that it was built under the Mughal reign. The shape of the fortress – The magnificent Red Fort was built in the Octagonal shape, as it seemed from above in the form of octagonal in its shape. The huge walls of this fort appear to be the same in shape.
